Lunae was still, completely still. It was clear that he could barely even comprehend Gara’s presence; he only knew that there was a person there, comforting him. Was it his mother? Wait, no, that can’t be right....

Was what she said? Who was here for him? What was going on? Why was he on his knees, in these ashen ruins? As Lunae blinked, he slowly came to realize the situation. It wasn’t the time for shock, was it?
He slowly forced himself to his feet, stepping back from the kind stranger. His eyes seemed glazed, blank.
“Who... are you?” He managed to force out, his voice surprisingly stable.

Miss Williams stood up with him, a comforting and friendly smile on her face. She brushed herself off and kept up her calm demeanor. "My name is Gara Williams. I was passing by when I noticed the tragedy and I couldn't just keep walking when I saw someone was crying all alone. I thought I could be of some help by maybe comforting you."

“Miss Williams.” He was silent for another moment, his comprehension speeds slowed by shock and anguish. “Thank you,” He finally murmured. Somebody went out of their way to comfort him. Perhaps not all was bad in the worl– Just the, blaring alarms went off in Lux. Something was going on. Conveniently timed, too–something that would take Lunae’s mind off things.
