Reagan hugged back tightly, crying a little onto Violet's shoulder. It was the sound of her own legs snapping that got to her the most. The crunch of it. She just cried into Violet's shoulder, not saying anything.
-
Violet patted her back and kept her held there before slowly beginning to walk Reagan to her bedroom. "Let's get you to bed..."
-
Reagan sniffles, and stops crying. Reagan: "O-Okay..." Bunny turns into his rabbit-like form and follows them.
-
Violet sets Reagan on her bed and sits on the edge. ____ Jay sighed and glanced over at Tails. "I swear that I didn't mean for her to get hurt. I didn't know she'd jump out of the tree and get hurt. I mean, it's still my fault, but...."
-
Bunny jumps up on Reagan's bed, sitting beside where she is laying. Reagan puts her arms around him like a stuffed animal. Reagan: "Goodnight, mom." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tails: "I knew about it as soon as it happened. I wanted to see if you'd help out or just bail on her. You'd be surprised at how many people would take the second option. And I don't get why you're explaining to me. Explain to her mom. You didn't do anything wrong. You only jumped out of a tree. Should've just told her to wait for the branch to lower down."
-
V: "Good night, my child." Violet kissed Reagan's cheek before walking out. ____________________ Jay: "I honestly thought you were going to drag me to hell or something."
-
Tails: "I can't even access hell anymore. I'm an angel, remember? What would I do anyways, put you at that office desk job? Ooh, spooky tax returns."
-
Jay chuckled, but once Violet marched into the room he went silent, not daring to even grin. V: "What the fu...you...UGH! She goes outside one time and you just have to get her injured!"
-
"I'll honestly be surprised if she goes outside at all for a while. Even if her life depends on it. She's very upset. And Violet, there's no need to get mad at him. He just jumped out and was fine. Reagan didn't know it was way too high. She's into magic, not trajectories and physics, remember? It was just an accident."
-
Being somewhat realistic, Violet had already grabbed onto the collar of Jay's shirt before Tails was even half way finished talking. V: "She has had it bad enough without you doing worse to her!" Jay: "I'm sorry. I didn't know she'd jump out of a tree. I assumed she knew better. I mean, it's common sense not to jump from trees...."
-
"She's six years old, Jay. She's smart, but she's still six. You can't just expect a six year old to know stuff like that. When I was six I was jumping off of cliffs."
-
J: "But you're an angel. That's different." V: "Give me one reason not to break your legs." J: "I fixed Reagan's legs because that Bunny thing was too incompetent and I didn't mean to hurt her."
-
"You do know that Bunny isn't able to heal people, right? He tried his best. He's not dumb. In fact, he's the smartest thing to ever exist. Seriously. So don't call him incompetent."
-
J: "That thing is not the smartest thing to ever exist. Sure, it's smart, but it's still an android pet thing for kids." Violet sighed and let go of Jay. V: "I don't care what it is. It seems to make Reagan happy so don't criticize it too much please."
-
"Jay. If you think that it yelling at you to get help was it being dumb, you're wrong. It was worried. Very worried. It's still her pet. It loves her. And it will until she grows out of it. And I'm serious. It knows literally everything something could know about everything. And everything that can happen."
-
J: "I didn't say that action was dumb. He didn't know better. That does prove he doesn't know everything though, Tails. Bunny is not all knowing and therefor not smarter than an omnipotent god." He grinned, having won that debate easily.
-
"You forget the part where he reset her bones so they would heal more quickly when he told you to help. You're not winning this debate, Jay. Bunny knows literally everything. If he didn't have restrictions placed on him, he'd easily be the most powerful being in this entire galaxy."
-
Jay rolled his eyes and chuckled at Tails. Violet couldn't help a small grin too. Jay: "Yeah okay, Tails. You're wrong, but believe what you want."
-
Tails smiles now. "Still don't believe me? Well... Then I know something that can prove it. Let me go get somebody." Tails disappears for a minute or two, and comes back with someone else in tow. They were tall, around ten feet, and wore all white. White cloak, white shirt and pants, white boots and gloves. The only thing that wasn't white was a blood-red, catlike mask. Tails: "Do either of you happen to know who this is? Violet, you might know, he just changed his looks recently." The man sighs. Man: "Tails, I'm ninety-nine percent sure Violet knows who I am. No need to be secretive."
-
Violet nodded and crossed her arms. V: "Hello, Raid." Jay: "Oh look, old death...." Jay chuckled and shook his head.
-
Raid: "Yep. Tails, you wanted me to s-" Tails shushes Raid, still smiling. Tails: "Raid has told me before that Reagan isn't just fully Mage, like was thought before. And because Raid here is the last of his kind, he's the only person who knows what Reagan is entirely. Literally the only person. There's no genetic records of the other race. Hell, he wouldn't even tell me or Sera. So if Bunny knows what Reagan is, that'll prove my point." Bunny appears next to them, and says one sentence before teleporting back to Reagan. Bunny: "She is half-Mage half-Atea." Tails has a smug look on her face. Raid: "Yep. That's it."
-
Edited by Stitch: 10/10/2017 8:41:40 PMJay looked unimpressed. J: "Woah, truly spectacular. You're adorable, Tails." V: "I thought my daughter was human! What the hell is an Atea?!"
-
Raid: "Violet, I told you that Reagan wasn't human. I just didn't specify. She's half Mage, half Atea. Atea are a race of buglike aliens that love war and killing things, but are very fragile. Mages are like normal people, just predisposed to magic and really durable." Tails: "Jay, if you don't believe me it's your problem. I'm just saving you confusion for later. If you just take my word and proof then things will make a whole lot more sense."
-
Violet sat down on the ground clutching her head. V: "She's....a bug?" J: "Technically only half bug. So, half weak as hell killer bug and half superpowerful mage. Strange mix, but she's a really nice girl either way."
-
Raid: "Just you wait until she has to go through puberty. She'll be really, really angry all the time. Mages love war too. We used to thrive on it. Not so much anymore, now that I'm all that's left."
