"That's unfortunate." Cain said with disappointment. "You wouldn't happen to have any other ideas?"

"There's a spring back at the academy that'll heal anything given enough time. Some simple back pain would take seconds." She shrugged. "Wanna go there?"
-
"A spring? Is it supposed to...bounce against my back?" Cain asked Lyn in confusion. Thinking of a steal spring rather then what Lyn was referring too.
-
"No, silly!" She giggled. "It's a very small body of water. This one happens to be in a shallow cave."
-
"Oh." Cain put simply. "Then...let's go!"

Edited by Stitch: 10/8/2017 12:15:40 AM"Sure thing! Let's go!" Lightning struck Lyn and a sword formed in her hand, she made a circle in the air and suddenly a portal appeared. "In ya go!"
-
Cain blinked slowly as he looked at the portal. He went wide eyed for a moment, before he shrugged and walked through.
-
The scene changed to that of a dark, moist cave with light trickling in from around a corner, which was probably the exit. In the middle was a spring about the size of an average swimming pool, the water had a faint glow and made the hearts of mortal men to lighten. Lyn came in right after him, the portal closing behind her. "Just know that if we get caught I don't know what the punishment is for trespassing so it could be the death penalty for all I know."
-
"We...are not allowed to be here to begin with?" Cain asked her as he looked around the cave and the water.
-
"Nope! C'mon! Strip down and get in already, will ya? You'll love the feeling and don't worry, I'll be keeping a lookout and won't peep." Lyn didn't show a single sign of worry as she headed to the exit.
-
"But..." Cain failed to speak any further as Lyn had already gone to the exit. He shook his head. "Why couldn't I have Just gone to the chiropractor for a year or two..." he said to himself as he took off his clothes which only left him in his briefs. He set his foot into the water, before he completely submerged himself.
-
The water was cold, yet when his toe touched it a feeling of bliss and hope ran through his body. He couldn't help thoughts of what he wanted most running through his head.
-
"If only the water was warmer..." he said as he tilted his head back against the rim of the spring.
-
The coolness had a feeling of purity behind it and kept him fully awake while his whole body felt better than it ever has before. No pain or discomfort remained after only a few seconds and no dark thoughts came to be.
-
"What...what even is this?" He asked himself, despite him not really caring for the answer as his sore and injured back had seemed to be healed.
-
The water suddenly splashed him in the face out of no where, as if it had a mind of its own. "You okay? We should probably head back." Lyn walked back into the cave.
-
Cain wiped his face off as he looked up at lyndis. "Hmm? Oh, yes! Of course." He told her as he rose out of the spring and walked towards his clothes. "There were no guards to be seen, then?"
-
"Nope!" A loud horn could be heard in the distance. "Well...let's just hurry." She quickly opened a portal back and jumped through.
-
Cain shook his head, and gave a slight grin as he quickly hopped back into his pants and grabbed his shirt, running for the portal.
-
He appeared right back at the party, but an arrow whizzed by his cheek right after he got through. Lyn laughed at his expense. "Just a second later and you'd probably have died."
-
Cains eyebrows furrowed as he touched his cheek, which had drawn some amount of blood. He looked to where the arrow had gone, considering it had just flown into the party. "It didn't hit anyone did it?!" He asked with concern.
-
"Naaaah!...Hopefully." Lyn shrugged and began to walk off. "Well, that was fun."
-
"It was something!" Cain agreed. "Thank you, I feel...significantly better then before. I'll be ready to serve you when you are ready." He told Lyn, seemingly from out of the blue.
-
Lyn froze and spun around. "Wait, what? What're you talking about?"
-
"You took over Infinite corp, did you not?" Cain asked her.
-
"Yeah? Why? You work for it?" Lyn shrugged. "If so then try not to call me Miss or ma'am."
