[i]"Hehe, you remembered that song!"[/i] Skull kid said with surprise in his voice. He looked around as the snow settled down with awe and wonder. He then looked to Zane and hopped up and gave him a hug.
"Still best friends, right?" The child asked Zane.

Zane felt his eyes go dark for a moment, and as he opened them, he no longer saw a small figure in his arms. Only the air he breathed in and the hands he had. As he looked up into the sky, he saw that it was a fantastic blue. It was a while since he really got to look up at the sky. When there wasn't some conflict going on, or a problem to be solved or someone to be saved. It was just...the sky. His mind was clear. As he took in a deep breath, and the suns ray made him feel warm with comfort, he had a sense he had not felt in sometime. Peace. [spoiler]The End[/spoiler]
