"Nor will he ever get a third." Fate told the group. "Tywin's soul has been utterly banished from existence. There is no trick, strategy or tactic he can use to find the mortal or spiritual realm ever again."
"Ha! NICE!" Alex exclaimed.
"Well, I'm not usually one who believes in karma...." Setsuna started. "But, if it exists, that was definitely it."
"Ya, I'm with you on that one." Anne agreed.
"So...hold on." Akira began. "Zane's powers are....gone...now....right?"
"They are, yes." Fate told him. "Zane no longer has the connection to me that he once had."
"Damn." Falk put out. "How does it feel to finally put the world off of your shoulders?"

"WHOO! RETIREMENT!" Xion exclaimed. "About damn time. You've been going on about it for like, two adventures now!" Anne told Zane.

"Ya well...I don't exactly think we have much time left." Xion told Zane sombrely. "Ya...does anyone else just feel super...light? Right now?" Anne asked the group. "Sweet heart I don't think we actually weigh anything." Alex told her with a grin. She punched him in the shoulder with a smile. "Oh stop it you smart ass!" She said, laughing. Falk chuckled as he stood beside Zane.

The group had a blanket of melancholy fall over them as Zane spoke. They all knew what was coming, Zane could tell. Yet...even then... They were together. Despite what they knew. "Ya I..." Setsuna started. "Definitely feel as if...the end is coming." "It is." Fate told everyone. "You all knew this was coming, sooner or later. Despite my power, a soul at rest is inevitable. I...would suggest that you say your goodbyes now." The group seemed even more saddened by this. But nonetheless akira approached Zane and offered his hand. "Thank you brother, fighting with you in the end...it was a dream come true."

He clasped his brothers hand and pulled him into a tight hug, hold back tears. "Gonna miss you little bro....."

"Oh, I'm taking advantage of this!" Setsuna said as she walked in and hugged both her brothers, nearly knocking their heads together as she did so.

"Hey easy now big sis, your gonna break something!" He said this, but he still kept his arms around his siblings.

The two eventually let go of their brother, and walked to the destroyed throne. After them, Xion walked up to Zane. "I guess we were able to take down one final bad guy, hey?" She said. "It's...it's good that we did. Wouldn't want you to remember me as...you know...the damsel that died on your quest or something..."

"Xion, I could never think of you like that. You were a treasured friend, one of my only ones while I worked with Orginization XIII." He wrapped her in a hug as well. "I'm really gonna miss you too ya know."

"I know Zane...I know." She told him in confirmation as she accepted the hug. Then, she let go, nodding to Zane as she went to join his siblings. Then, Anne walked up to Zane. She didn't say anything before she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him probably the tightest hug he had ever received from her. And they had been through a lot together. "Zane....thank you...thank you so much for everything. You were never an unwelcome site...and always there for me when I needed it. Thank you..."

"I should be thanking you Anne, without you or Alex, I would have been lost to the darkness. You saved me, so for that I'm eternally grateful."

Anne finally released Zane, and looked up at him with teary eyes but a smile. She wiped them as she went to go join the others. Alex, of course, walked in front of Zane, with a sly grin on his face. He lifted up the Infinite blade, flat up, so that the hilt was at his waste and the blade was up at an angle. "She's seen some times, hasn't she?" Alex asked Zane, seemingly out of the blue.

"Ay, both our blades have old friend. Made mine when I escaped from the clan, when was yours made?"

"Hrmmm. I think you met the smith that made it right? Big ass dude, monotone, wore the weird gladiator mask? Some crazy necromancy beast or some shit. Anyways, he made me the original way back when, before I killed Majora even." He told Zane, as his eyes shifted to the sky. "Better question is...how far do you think she can fly...?"

"Because I'm thinking of setting a god damned world RECORD!" He yelled as he brought the sword over his shoulder like a Lance and arced it forward. The blade shot up out of the palace and into the clear blue sky. It shined like a star as the sun reflected off of it, and its power seemed to make it light aflame from the energy. And just like that, the blade disappeared behind the mountain scape. The fierce deity blade, the Infinite blade, had taken flight. "WHOO. That's a send off!" Alex declared as he proudly put his hands on his hips.
