Only Gideon's suddenly returning spirits would save him from a certainly destructive blow, fearing for his life upon the line. "Strafe to the left, ser!" One would screech from the afterlife, and he did so suddenly, the bullet whizzing past his shoulder and promptly embedding itself into Elizabeth's fortress of frozen armor.
The armor would shatter in her left side, blood mixing with the frozen icicles of what made up Frostbitten as the woman was forced to kneel, yelling out in sudden pain. As if somehow worried by his previous enemy's cries, the bald elf would turn back, a solemn despair upon his face before he faced his new enemy.
Gideon did not understand. Was it fate that saved him? Fate that cursed the woman whom was attacking, perhaps. Were the two allies, with one misfiring, or were they enemies? He found the allies theory more suitable, really.
Groaning, the mage's frostbitten shoulder began to heat up, regenerating slowly. Gideon began to move back from both females, although originally facing Iris, creating a triangle between their positions as he switched views between the frozen mage and the gunslinger. He kept his hand up towards Iris, as if signifying peace.. and not noticing that Elizabeth would begin to rise, and with her, her aim - preparing to spear him for her own cruel reasons.
And as Oberyn Martell once said.. DECISIONS!
