While you were busy monologuing, she fired herself out of a cannon, and grabbed onto you. She couldn't dodge the attack, but she could make sure both got hit.

I use my short range teleport to slip away as the false blasts are about to connect. I am aware she might have been able to defend. With the few seconds delay for the real one, and the completely different angle it came from. It surely connected since she couldn't sense or see it.
