There was a shooting near my house.
I live in a pretty small town, so stuff like this never happens. Details haven't been released, but what we do know is the suspect(s) are on the run, and they were shooting up a gas company. I don't know if anybody was hurt, but there was an ambulance there. The gas company wasn't but 10 minutes away from my house, so I could clearly hear the gunfire. Some crazy stuff.

There's a shooting around my neighborhood several times a month. Just check the house and go back to sleep when it happens.

4 RepliesI was robbed at gunpoint like 15 years ago. This dude was going around town robbing store after store. One of the final stores he robbed was an 18 year old girl as the clerk. She gave him the money and he still shot her in the face. She lived but was really messed up. They knew who he was and had his picture in the news and newspaper. Well someone else found him before the police. He was found naked on the side of the road out in the middle of nowhere with a bullet in his head...

I live right outside a skate park of a not so nice area. Used to hear gunshots almost weekly. The police stepped in and that became every other week, then monthly. I would hear helicopters every now and then. Then there was stabbings but nothing now. All the more reason I'm gonna be carrying a handgun, always. A dumb -blam!- might as well be a dead -blam!-.
