Victoria's face turned even brighter red from Christina resting her head on her shoulder and her heart felt like it was going to pound out of her chest, but she somehow managed to keep herself together without showing any sign of stress in her voice. She turned her blushing face to Chris and grinned.
"Call me V. My full name is Victoria, but it's too long for my taste."
English
-
"Victoria? I like that name. But I'll call you V." She smiled to herself, gently shutting her eyes. As she did so, her head being against Victoria's neck and shoulder would feel her pounding heartbeat. "... what's up with that?" She asked, referring to said heartbeat.
-
"What's what? I think you should just get some sleep. You look really tired and I'll make sure to keep you safe during the night. I can go extended periods without sleep." Victoria knew exactly what Chris was referring to, but she didn't feel like having to explain that cuddling this close with such a pretty girl makes her freak out because she has no experience with this sort of thing.
-
"I'm not THAT tired," Christina would respond, opening her eyes and looking up at Victoria once more. Her body had stopped shivering, having warmed up sufficiently, but Christina made no move to slide away. "I'd rather stay awake and talk to you." She smiled kindly at Victoria, before looking out the 7-11's window and the pouring rain.
-
Victoria smiled widely at that, thinking back on how much she was normally ignored. To have someone that genuinely wanted to hold a conversation with her was relatively new. "Thanks, Chris. I'd like to talk some more too....Are you still not warm?" V now folded her second wing around Christina, the heavenly soft feathers feeling like the comfiest material to ever grace Chris' skin.
-
"Yeah... yeah, I'm still cold." It was a complete and utter lie, and it wasn't as though Christina was trying to hide that fact–she just wanted to keep cuddling, if she was to be honest. She would gently wrap her arms around Victoria underneath the blanket of her wings, letting out a sigh of comfort and–at least temporary–happiness. A rare emotion to feel in the slums. "So anyways... where ya from? And what's it like there?"
-
V didn't protest Christina getting closer and actually secretly squealed with joy on the inside to have a girl like Chris so close to her. "Brooklyn. It's alright, I guess. I live with my uncle in a very small apartment...I sleep in the closet. It's a decently roomy closet though! Umm...I don't always have food, but usually I find a way to make sure I don't starve to the point of needing medical attention."
-
Christina smiled to herself, happy that Victoria wasn't protesting Christina's being so close. Normally, she'd expect to be turned away at this point by a girl like V, but she was happy that this wasn't the case. "Sounds like Harry Potter, really," She admitted with a small laugh.
-
Victoria giggled a little and nodded. "I guess it kind of does sound like Harry Potter, huh?" V fell silent, getting lost in the warmth of Chris and the feeling of having someone beside her. She didn't normally get to feel things like this so she was trying to soak in as much as she could while she can.
-
The silence was not awkward, rather it was a quite comfortable one, as Christina simply relaxed. Her smile would soon fade, though, as her thoughts took a slightly darker turn. "... when do you have to leave?" She asked, looking up at Victoria.
-
Victoria recoiled for a second, surprised by the question and not having a plan already figured out. She thought about whether or not she had anywhere to be, but that train of thought was inturrupted by the thought of possibly staying the night. Her teenage mind raced with hormone filled fantasies before she managed to gather her thoughts back together and say an answer. "Uh....I don't have to leave really. I don't have anywhere I need to go."
-
"So you can stay here for a while? If you don't mind the shittiness of the location," She said, her voice full of hope as her hands gently ran across the feathers of Victoria's wings. It was clear that Christina had grown... extraordinarily lonely in her years of living in the slums of Lumen Solis, not having any reliable friends and certainly never having anybody actually stay with her.
-
Victoria squirmed when Christina ran her fingers across her wings and let out an involuntary laugh, obviously ticklish on the wings. The angel looking girl nodded with a smile, happy to have someone to spend time with. "I can stay as long as you need me, Chris."
-
Christina grinned as she found out Victoria's ticklish spot, gently tickling her feathers with her hands. "That might be a while," Christina would admit with a slightly sad tone and expression, sighing as she stared straight ahead once more.
-
Victoria giggled cutely and squirmed some more from the tickling, leaning on Christina a little for support as her body moved against her control. "Y-Yeah?...You're gonna abuse the fact my wings are ticklish, aren't you?" V didn't mind the tickling, actually finding a lot of joy from it somehow.
-
"You bet I am," Christina said with another laugh, her tickling growing faster. After a short bit, she stopped, her hands falling to her sides as she slowly lifted her head from Victoria's should, turning her face to face the other girl. It looked as thought Christina wanted to do something, but just couldn't find the courage or was scared of how Victoria would react.
-
Victoria laughed and squirmed while she was tickled and took some time to recover afterwards. She tried to catch her breath as she looked over at Christina with a grin, getting lost in her eyes. "You're awesome, Chris. I hope we can be really close friends."
-
Christina was momentarily frozen, then looked away with a small sigh. "Y-yeah. Friends." She wasn't particularly surprised–of course that's what Victoria would suggest, not what Christina was thinking of. She gently rested her head upon Victoria's shoulder once more, angling her sideways head up to plant a soft, gently peck on Victoria's neck, smiling to herself as she did so.
-
V gasped a little and began to freak out internally even though it was a simple peck on the neck. Does Chris want to be more than friends? What if it was a mistake? "M-Maybe more than friends..." She blurted it out in a quiet mumble, just loud enough for Christina to hear.
-
At that, Christina breathed out a contented sigh, wrapping her arms around Victoria in a hug once more. "That sounds nice," She whispered quietly, also only just loud enough for Victoria to hear. She raised her head once more, eyes gazing at Victoria's face passively.
-
"Yeah, it does, doesn't it?" V smiled down at Christina, happiness clear on her expression and in her eyes. Inside she sighed in relief, glad that didn't somehow backfire horribly.
-
Christina smiled back at Victoria, letting out a sigh. In truth, she couldn't even begin to imagine her luck, meeting somebody like Victoria on a rainy night in the slums. She continued to simply gaze upwards at the other girl, part of her wanting to get even closer, but the other part of her not wanting to make Victoria uncomfortable.
-
Victoria giggled and ran a hand through Christina's hair. "You just gonna stare?" She enjoyed seeing Chris' smile, but having someone's attention centered around her made her feel a little uncomfortable.
-
"N-no, sorry," Christina mumbled, looking away and resting her head on Victoria's shoulder once more. After a moment of silence, she spoke once more. "S-so... what does this mean?" She asked, throwing herself outside of her own comfort zone as she asked the question.
-
Victoria wasn't exactly sure herself, she'd never gotten this far before. She didn't know what Christina felt comfortable with or how fast to move considering they only just met. "Uhh...I don't know really. What ever you want, I guess."

Edited by Crrowly: 8/14/2017 12:08:57 AM"You sure you wanna say that?" Christina replied with a grin, lifting her right leg up to rest it on top of Victoria's left. Her tone was simply happy more than anything else. "Well, what do you wanna do?" She asked, eyes still fixated on the pouring rain outside. The 7-11's flickering light would die then, immersing the place in darkness. "I'll change the bulb later," She added as this happened.
