"Hey, hombre, you good? You're walking around like a muertos, a zombie." The voice laughed from behind. It was smooth off the tongue, a Mexican accent native to it. The man rested a hand on your shoulder, though his features (other than his tanned skin and the black leather biker glove covering said hand.) were not visible with your back facing the figure

"I came in search of training. My family and friends died because my newly awakened powers weren't enough. I plan to let their deaths not be in vain. I was told that there may be someone where with a knack for developing abilities similar to mine."
-
"Well, that would depend on the abilities. As for family, I'm sorry for your loss, I know how it feels. I'd offer a sparring match if that's what your looking for." The man said, staying where he was
-
"As I am it wouldn't be satisfactory to a skilled gunner like yourself."
-
"I'd love too once I get more comfortable with my abilities. I summon a extremely powerful magical artifact. It is a divine spear. My mentor back home and senior fallen angel couldn't help me. None of the demons or other supernatural beings I spoke to were able to help. They said it adapts with the wielder and other situational factors. You know anyone to look for or anything from the archives to check out? Its an impressive Library, surely theres something there if I can't find another person to help me."
-
"One, if your looking for a spearman to teach you, you've found the right soldier." Leon said, stepping in front of the man. It revealed his apparel, a brown leather jacket with white t-shirt, loose blue jeans and black leather boots. His hair was pitch black, short cut and his eyes were a violet colour. He held a spear in his hands, decorated with a few feathers and painted to look wood but clearly a modern weapon. "Two, great. Magic, angels, demons, dragons. Are the horseman in town doing shots too?" He said jokingly?
-
"Oh, i assumed you were a gunner since that that cloak is common and traditional where I'm from. Thank you man, I appreciate it." I continued... " I was told of how powerful the last person to be capable of summoning this spear, even though it took a joint effort from the barely stable alliance between the forces of angels and demons in my world to struggle to even touch him in battle, he claimed he only had a fraction of its potential and powers at his disposal. I'm gonna be a piece of work. Are you ok with that?"
-
"Buddy, my job was to drive at full speed on a motorcycle with a spear while people shot me with crossbows. If I wasn't ok with the completely crazy and absurd, I wouldn't be here right now. Yeah, is say I'm ok with it. I'll try not to electrocute you.@ He says jokingly

Edited by Jovis Joesun: 8/11/2017 9:35:45 PM*I thank Leon and we begin my training. After a few weeks and several lessons and vast improvement, Leon approaches me with a smile, places his hand on my shoulder and says...*
just a little tip, generally you don't take control of another character without their permission. Just a courtesy thing.
Leon laughed a bit, a grin on his face. "You're getting better kid. Either that or I'm getting really rusty."
-
(Sorry, still new to this.) "Lets hope its the former. How 'bout we grab a drink or something?"
-
"Sure. First rounds on me." He said, beginning to walk as he gestured for his friend to follow
-
After we got to the bar, after a few rounds I saw the bartender slipping something into Leon's booze, I tapped his shoulder, pointed and said, "You think he has death wish, or is a masochist hoping that we beat the shit out of him for trying to drug ya?"
-
He looked at the bartender laughing a bit. "Well, if you wanted to get lucky all you would've had to do is ask." It was disturbing as he spoke. His usual joking tone graced his voice, but there was a hidden undertone, barely bearable, darker than the void as he looked at the bartender
tender a man or a woman?
Edited by Jovis Joesun: 8/11/2017 10:29:54 PM"Leon, I was pointing at the other bar tender, the fat asshole over there." Pointing a little to the left of the female bartender that Leon was pointing at. Edit *looking at, Leon didn't point. My bad.

"After being in the military for 7 years and on the road for 2 there isn't much you aren't willing to do my friend, though I see your point." He said, electricity seeming to clacker a bit on his arms and hair, the small arcs the same colour as his eyes
-
"Well all of Leons jokes aside, I lean towards him and say, I have a medical condition that makes me incapable of laughing. They are funny I just can't actually laugh," I turn back to the panicked and nervous looking bartender and say, "If you want your ass kicked for pleasure you done goofed by pissing me off. Should just used a website to fond someone for that. If that shit you were pitting in our drinks was for the sake of killing is, start talking if you want to even have a chance of living!" I was going to continue making threats but I realized I was making people stare so I stopped ranting and waited for either Leon or the bartender to say something. The room fell silent until...
-
"Hey, pal, calm yourself. We caught it, no harm no foul." He said walking over to the bartender, looking calm and casual. 5 seconds later the bartender's face had been slammed against the table, nose clearly broken and electricity crackling on Leon's entire arm and hand, as he gently placed the tips of his fingers in the man's face, so he could see it "Though, if I ever catch you doing this to anyone again..." He shocked the man, his eyes seeming to turn to a whitish tint "I'll take more than just your vision, and t won't be temporary." He said, as he let go of the man, stepping back.
-
"Leon, the person controlling fried his brain telepathically before he could tell me anything so I don't think you will catch him pulling anything."
-
"Oh his brain is fine, I just shocked him a good bit, he'll be able to see again in like three days, a week maximum." Leon said, sitting. He was about to take a sip of his drink, before he remembered, sliding it to the side, looking at one of the bartenders, a female. He spoke, a kind tone in his voice, one that sounded like it could make almost anyone do what he asked. "Hey babe, you mind grabbing me another glass? Thanks." He said, sliding a good sized tip to her.
-
"If you did, his signature is too weak for me to pick up on. Hey guy who I haven't asked for a name yet, can you sense him?" (My character didn't know how to respond and Inside that to avoid breaking character or the fourth wall)
-
"I know you didn't shock his brain, he went brain dead when he collapsed. I stopped feeling his life force at that point so he was already dead. Unless you jumpstarted his nervous system he's dead."
-
"I mean, I could if you want me to. I'm gonna need you to hit me with a power line or a transformer or something though." He said, as the tender returned with his drink, as he spoke "Thanks love." Before he took a sip
-
"I know some electricity magic. Will that charge you up?"
-
"That should work."
-
"Well maybe we could get some info out of him this time. Go ahead. That'd perfect."
