Quincy picked up on that rather quickly, thinking for a split second before his ears perked.
"Wanna go for a coffee? you look like you need one."
English

"Sure. But you do realize I'm engaged, right?" She asked him before looking up at him.
-
"I'm married, remember?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Besides, when did it become weird for me to offer coffee to people? I own a cafe. Kinda. Rock owns it technically but he's always on vacation or doing things to get richer."
-
"Hmph." She said, but she wasn't this withdrawn before
-
"Well, c'mon then." he said as he gestured for her to follow as he started off in the direction of the cafe.
-
She did, sighing. She put her hands in her hoodie pocket, and raised her hood.

After a silent trip into Dojoville, they arrive at the cafe. It was mostly empty except for Dave, the male lamia who manned the cash register, and a few customers. Dave was more snake-like in appearance than your standard lamia, his head actually being that of a snake's, as one would imagine. He gave a nod to Q, who returned the gesture with a bit of a wave. "So, Alex, what'll it be?" Q asked her, talking about her choice of beverage.
-
"....surprise me" She said, tiredly

Quincy just started chuckling evily as he more or less pranced into the kitchen. Dave chuckled as well as he watched Quincy go, rather amused. "Ssso, you're Al-eckss?" Dave asked, his accent rather snake-like, his voice a bit raspy and deep, although not intimidating.
-
She nodded curtly "I wish everyone'd stop using my real name."
-
Dave seemed to chuckle slightly at her words. "Thatsss sssomething I can relate to. Namesss have power, whether people realize it or not. Sometimes namess are reminderss of past misstakes and ssometimess they carry ssour meaning. I sstopped using my name becaussse of my familyss' actionss. Im not assshamed, itss merely a matter of safety." he said, sighing afterward. At least it sounded like a sigh. It was more of a deep exhale with emotion.
