"Alexis though some people just call me red from the cloak I usual wear."
She sighed
"Yes just like the story. But that was years ago."
Her hands had a few calluses around the connecting point between the palm and the fingers consistent with what one would expect from the average lumberjack. She shook his hand with her better hand. It was a manly handshake for someone of her appearance.
"Interesting town. More of a fan of the woods over a mountain but still, nice town"

"Red, is it? Back on my earth people called me red sometimes. When I came here, I decided to stick with black." Cylus grinned. "It is quite the town, alright. People from all over the galaxy and even multiverse come here. I like to think of it as the universal dive bar sometimes." Cylus chuckled. "But all in all, it's nice."
-
"Maybe I'll have to stick around for a bit. Besides, I really should get this thing checked out by a hospital instead of drinking the pain away" She pulled the strap of her tank top with the bandages off to the side and slid down the bandages to see what it looked like. The bleeding itself didn't seem particularly bad but it was still quite a deep wound. She covered it back up and put the sleeve back over the wrap. "Which way is the hospital anyways?"
-
Cylus paused. "I actually don't know. I usually patch myself up in my armory, so it's basically the next best thing." he says. "It's not far. Just a couple buildings down."
-
She looked at him for a second to see if he was joking about not knowing were the hospital was. "Works for me. I doubt I can drink enough to make sure it doesn't get infected without knocking myself out." She took another sip and got up from her seat then put on her armor rather than carrying it. On the inside portion of the cloak were several pockets, holsters, and even a few places for scabbards to be stored. "So you have some supplies at your armory to get my arm fixed up?"
-
"Like I said, next best thing." Cylus chuckled. "Follow me." he said, and with that, he headed down the streets of dojoville. Ps
-
"Hmm..." She left the rest of her drink on the table and walked off with him a bit curious what someone with high tech armor would call an 'armory'

Soon enough, Cylus had stopped in front of what most would say is a "cute" little shop. A door mat, overhead awning, and a two seated table out front. The glass was unmarked and intriguingly clean, which kept it standing out. Pulling a key from his belt, Cylus unlocked and pulled open the door, stepping inside. Save for the few boxes around the room. It was hardly your average armory. "Sorry about the mess. Just got a couple shipments in." Cylus said. "What do you think?"
-
"That's.... a lot of guns." She said as the looked around a bit surprised at all the firearms around the room. "And I thought I was well prepared with a couple dozen knives in my pockets"

Edited by BondyMilk: 8/7/2017 11:44:33 PMCylus laughed. "Well, I keep my doors open to friends and people I trust, and sometimes if necessary, some of my squadrons will come in and arm up. My personal favorites are in the back." he grins. Just then, a robot weilding a bow and arrow stepped into the room from the back. His eyes were on his bow, so he did not notice Alexis.
*You get the stuff?* he asked.
"Yeah, and on the way out some wise guy though he could pick my pockets."
*Oh?*
"I threw him through a window." Cylus said. He removed a small box from his pocket and tossed it to the exo, who looked up as we caught it.
*Oh hello.* he says upon noticing Red. *I'm Q. And who might you be?*
-
"Alexis but Red works too. Werewolf hunter. The claws on them are pretty harsh but it's the bite that really leaves a mark. Speaking of which." She then proceeded to unfasten the jacket section on her armor and pull down the sleeve to where she had her shoulder still wrapped up in bandages. "Cylus said something about having stuff to take care of this. If you want me to pay I have money."
-
"There's no need for that. Q, go get the box." Cylus said. Q ran put his bow and the package down on the table and disappeared into the beck room. He emerged with a large metal box filled with medical supplies and gestured to a chair.
*Have a seat. We'll get that patched up in no time.* he said.
-
Alexis took at seat and pulled off the rest of the armor and unwrapped her shoulder. She looked at the package the machine put down being a bit curious. "A pickpocket huh? Was wondering what the deal was with the guy you beat up. What he try to take anyways?"
-
"My keys. I've seen him around, eyeing my place, so the idiot probably thought he could try to rob me. But if he were smarter, he'd know that I also live here." Cylus explained. He gestured to another door in the back, which led to his living quarters. Q sat beside Alexis and removed a couple of bottles, gauze and tape, salve, a needle, and thread.
*Here, let's get that fixed up.* he says.
-
"Ah alright" She put her arm out in a comfortable position and got ready for the sting that came with being stitched up. She tried to relax, not wanting to tense up suddenly while she was being stitched up. Last thing she wanted was to have to need stitching all over again.
-
Q picked up one of the bottles and opened it, looking to Alexis.
*You want something to bite? This stuff speeds up the healing process, but really hurts like a bitch.* he says.
-
"Well if you think it's a good idea." She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out a throwing knife which she put the handle in her mouth and gave a thumbs up.
-
Q began pouring the liquid onto Alexis' wound. As he said, it stung like hell, but she'd live. When he stopped, he dabbed the wound with gauze. After he had cleaned it out, he nodded and picked up the needle and thread. With speed and precision, he had given her 6 stiches perpendicular to the would, and one intricate one going along it to allow easy movement.
*There we go.* he says, proud of his work.
Finally, he took gauze and put medicated salve on it before wrapping it around her shoulder, looking to Red when it was done.
*You're all good to go!* he says happily.
-
Swears could be heard behind her muffled mouth while the liquid was poured over her wound. Interestingly enough it made the thread not hurt nearly as much as she would have expected after dealing with the chemical. After the patch job she spat her knife on the ground and checked the handiwork. It did come out better than if she tried to patch herself up without a doubt. "Gah! Whew. Thanks.. I thought rubbing alcohol was bad. What was that anyways?" She said as she started putting her top half of her set back on.
-
"
*Just a chemical compound I came up with. Basically cleaning alcohol on crack, caffeine, and steroids, all at once.* Q chuckles.
"It working well?" Cylus asked, raising an eyebrow.
-
"Maybe, it's only been a few minutes so.." She took a second look out of curiosity yo see if it really aided the recovery that fast.
-
With a peek under the gauze, Alexis would see that the stitches held the wound together while it started to heal. "How does it look?" Cylus asked
-
"Way better than at the bar that's for sure. Are you sure you don't want anything? If anything comes to mind I'll probably be hanging out in town for a while selling lumber and slaying monsters. I know weird combo but yeah really, if you need anything let me know." She put the wrapping back over the wound and leaned over to pick up her knife then placed it back into one of the pouches covering the inside of the cloak.
