As he landed, he found himself immediately beset by gunfire from the Coldbourne forces. The battle had begun that much was for sure. Eight white coloured body armoured soldiers fired their weapons at the man, but his suits shields took the hits. The figures were just down the street, and they hadn't gone for cover.

"Anake, set up holo-decoys!" Steel latched onto a trooper with his Grapple arm, laying bursts of fire down range with his rifle.

[spoiler]can you introduce these people a little more maybe? Don't know who they are[/spoiler] The man was choked with the hook and another man dropped as Steel fired. The men sprinted for the alleyways, firing at him and shooting at his shields resistance as they did.

[spoiler]Ananke is Steel's counterterror drone, about the size of a potato chip.[/spoiler] Leaping to the left side, Steel headed into an alleyway. Manya dropped down behind him, beginning to draw in the air with some form of magic. Out in the street, several holograms of the Enforcer had manifested, fanning outward into the alleys.[spoiler]The holograms can't deal damage, but they can simulate tracer bullets.[/spoiler]

Edited by Inflatablepants: 7/17/2017 12:38:16 AM[spoiler]Dont know what those are...[/spoiler] The soldiers fired at the holograms vainly but took cover significantly more behind the alleyways. This slowed them down to a crawl which would allow Steel to escape.

Popping out of the alleyway, Enforcer Steel pressed a small button on the side of his rifle. The weapon whistled for a moment, before quieting and saying in a monotone: "Trans-dimensional coils not detected," Swearing, he dived back into the alley, "Manya, seal it off!" The young woman nodded, the blue mesh she had constructed transmuting into a solid wall over the entrance.

The ice sealed the way, and the soldiers ran at it. Bullets fired at the ice but to no avail. It seemed that the man and the woman had gotten away.
