No other structures or land masses could be seen. They were alone in the middle of the ocean[/b] "Well, here we are." [b]The portal closed behind them, rain pouring from the ominous grey sky[/b]

"Okay then"says akiko [i]she follows him through door unsure about where it would actually lead as she walks along. [/i]

[b]Lights flicker on inside, revealing a ruined statue and a tattered red banner. Two stone staircases descended to a lower level[/b] "No gods or kings, only men." [b]They descended down to a larger set of stairs that connected to a circular stone platform. In its center, a bathysphere stood idle on a hole of water, held mechanically in place by a metal bridge[/b]
