She nods, leading them through the facility. Many Alliance soldiers and officers rushed around the place, checking status on any of the critically wounded from the Arcturus Station battle and the status on the remaining colonies being fought for against Cerberus.
"Apologies for the mess; we still have to clean up from that whole Arcturus incident. Anderson's leading efforts back on Eden Prime, so, they left Riley and I in command of the Dojo until Hackett can take full control of the situation again." She says.

"As can be expected, shit was messy." "Oi! Language, Carley!" "Oops, sorry." Carly shook her head, looking around the base Along with the Alliance soldiers and officers, there were a few Militia troops that passed by every now and then, going towards the infirmary or away from it. They had lost men as well after all
-
"So...what brings you guys up here? Other than checking your men, of course?" Val asked, doctors rushing a Alliance soldier with a lost arm to the ER.
-
"We have some news, figured we'd take advantage of the time we have." "Aye, the IMC, made a speceyeal request." "One week Cease Fire from the war, to "mourn the lost" as they called it. Figured if we had a week, might as well get you equipped with some of our tech. "
-
"Alright. Anything in particular? The information we got from Jade pointed to Cerberus having something BIG in their hands. She didn't spill out what they're planning, but whatever it is, they're gonna do it." Val responded. "Our forces are making sure that you're all upgrade with our tech." She responds.
-
"We want to outfit some of your Marines with out double jumping and wall running Abilities. Along with cloaking, phase running, rechargeable grenades and various other things." Carly stated, looking around the area "Also, we have access to an arc similar to that of which we found on Typhon, the energy it contains is astounding and could change the game."
-
"And in trade, the Alliance could install Thanix Cannons on your dreadnoughts, maybe get some more advanced stuff on your ships. Quarian a are already upgrading your Titans with better shields, Turians are sending supplies your way; heard the Salarians are planning on joining the deal; plans on giving you guys some additional soldiers." Val explained, waiting upon a door up ahead.
-
"Now, we need your assistance harnessing the power of this arc. If we're able to do it correctly, than we have the opportunity of creating blink drives. That of which the Invictus has, to appear and disappear across the galaxy in an instant."
-
"An...arc? Hackett had looked at what happened on Typhon before Arcturus, and he happened to be worried about things; where it was, whether it create some whole 'imbalance with the galaxy', etc... but sure, we've gotten people that could help create this 'arc'." She responds, the Alliance soldiers scanning the three.
-
"It raises causes for concern, that is true. But imagine what it could do if used properly!"
-
"But what if the IMC found out? They could use that as leverage against the Militia. At least that's what I learned from back at the academy." Val responded, the door opening to reveal a control room, with Ashley talking to one of the Alliance soldiers. She looked up. "Val...you may want to see this." She responds.
-
"There are no records on its existence, not a single copy on any data pad, console or manifesto. It's only talked about." Carly said, entering the area and walking towards Ashley
-
"I guess, then, the IMC could think it was a lie." she responds, walking toward Ashley. "We lost contact with an Alliance prison not too long ago. Outside Eden Prime. The fact is...it looked like civilians were doing it. All women, minus one man." Ashley responded. "Hm...well, anyways, about Harmony..." Val asks.
-
"What about Harmony? The planet is secure. We have our largest Fleet, the tenth Fleet, comprised of 290 some ships watching over it."
-
"I know. I was saying maybe an embassy can be place up there, try to get the public to know they have friends beyond the Militia out in the Milky Way." Val had responded. As Ashley ran out to return to her homeworld, Riley came in, Dragoon whips locked in her own black and red N7 hoodie. "Sup." Riley introduced herself casually. "Carly, Vaughn, this is Riley Bishop, first year N7, the elite of the Alliance." Val introduced.
-
"Pleased to meet you." "Aye. A pleasure." "An embassy you say? That could boost morale for Militia troops that are growing weary of the fight. Might even get our Recruitment up..."
-
"Yeah...I mean, Hackett had ordered that many of the remaining Alliance fleets be redirected to your fight against the Militia. Turian's, I heard, are sending some of their Blackwatch teams and a few dreadnoughts your way. Quarians are helping upgrade your Titans and are sending Infiltrators." Val explained, as Riley looked at the terminal, a message popping up. "Um, Val...we got a message from the volus ambassador. Wants to message with us...and the Militia." The N7 said almost confused, as Val lead the three through the facility, to where a comm room was. There was a little time for them to talk, considering there was a small drone scanning them individually.
-
"Volus? Not to sound Offensive but is that the species the smaller version of the Quarians? I'm still learning the names of all the species."
-
"They're the fat moneymakers that that are usually the reason the turians and asari are more advanced military- wise than us." Riley responded to...whoever said that.
-
Carly is the more American accent You'll know Vaughn when you see the mismatched wording
"Aye. Bloody money mongers ain't they?" "They wanted to speak with us, be nice, Vaughn." "Allright.."
-
Alright, so the one speaking like Zaeed turned Irish is Vaughn. The other one is Carly. Thanks. Also, no offense.
The drone stopped scanning him, as the door opened, revealing the ambassador, breathing. "Ambassador Korlack...are you alright?" Val asked, clearly worried for the chubby alien. "*breathes* Yes, Earth-clan. I...*breathes* believe that the newly created Asari Empire has backed off the Citadel. Commander Bailey mentioned this number. First...*heavily breathes* of all, I would like to... *breathes* pay my condolences to the Alliance and Militia's...*breathes* deceased." The could responded. Korlack continued with, "*breathes* As I have found out, *breathes* Cerberus is responsible for what happened with the Empire. *breathes* They also attempted an invasion of Irune, *breathes*, the could homeworld. We wish *breathes* to provide support to the Militia."
-
"Any support you may offer to us will be gladly accepted, ambassador. What do you wish in return for your Support?" Carly asked, crossing her arms over her chest and looking at the ambassador
-
The Volus simply breathed a little bit, before answering, "*breathes* We want *breathes* plans for the things you call *breathes* Titans. They will help us *breathes* with the war against the asari. We *breathes* would also like to create an *breathes* embassy upon Harmony."
-
"So we provide you with Titans, and an embassy... What do we receive in return for providing you with these Titans?"
-
"Our only dreadnought *breathes* and the volus bombing fleet will be at your service. I'll also *breathes* provide engineers which could be useful in the upgrading of your *breathes*Titans, and ships. We may also provide *breathes* economic support your way." The volus had replied.
-
"Very well, that seems like it would be a fair deal. We will provide you with Titans, and allow you to set up an embassy on Harmony." Carly nodded in approval, looking to Vaughn "Aye, that seems fair."
