"You know, you should talk to Zora. Real mysterious figure that appears every now and then in the dojo. Calls herself a "Guardian" of time or something."
The duo walked down the street of the base village, which was oddly devoid of Alliance troopers. Only Militia forces were seen in the vicinity

"I'll keep that in mind." Cylus says. He looks around and finds the absence of operatives to be odd. "What's going on over here?"

"Alliance troopers been pulling out all day and night. It was that battle announced in the dropship yesterday." Marker said as the two approached the landing area

"I see. Remind me again, Cerberus is from the Alliance timeline, correct?"

"Yeah. Cerberus, Alliance, Reapers, Geth, Turians, Asari and other assorted Factions and such come from what we call the "Mass Effect" Timeline." "Militia, and IMC come from the "Titanfall" timeline."

"And I'm Cylus. From Earth." Cylus adds, obviously ammusing himself

"You had any large empires or anything in your timeline?" Marker asked, as the two boarded the dropship from yesterday

[spoiler]I guess you could say Cylus comes from a version of combined comic book universes that I kind of made in my head[/spoiler] "No big empires really, only citites that seemed to be under siege a lot. Like New York and what not..." Cylus says in thought. "But we did have a lot of people with some whack-ass powers. We even had an alien we called [i]Clark[/i]. I called him boy scout."

[spoiler]Nice...[/spoiler] "Ah. You come from a different timeline. Zora called it "Comicverse" Last time I saw her. Which was a few weeks ago. "

"Comicverse? Interesting... Because in my timeline we had comics not too far from what I'm seeing here. Maybe some sort of [i]Mandela Effect.[/i]" Cylus says.

"We got comics depicting super heroes that save cities from Wild villains. Apparently, there's a universe where us and The alliance come from videogames. It's all out of whack."

"Huh, that's some next level shit. Maybe this Zora figure is the key to what I'm talking about. Some sort of super awareness."

"Maybe. I just know she travels through dimensions and time. There's also Gerald."

Cylus laughs at the sound of the name. "[b][i]Gerald[/i][/b]?"

"Gerald Vos Chronos. Yeah, that's his name." Marker said, the dropship lifting off and going through the air

"Ah, Chronos. As in Chronus, titan of time. Father of the Greek Gods... That sounds way better than just [i]Gerald."[/i] Cylus says, looking around "Where are we going anyways?" he asks

"Back to the clearing. To finish up the basics of Titans."

"Gotcha. And this time, no flying swords." Cylus says with a light hearted laugh

"Yeah, try not to anything like that." Marker laughed as well, the dropship station through the air

"It's funny really. We're headed out to complete my training for this huge war of colliding timelines, and I'm even going to have to fight you later... But here we are. Just two guys talking about stuff." Cylus says with a sigh

"We're fighting to see how good you are. We are still comrades. We are still brothers in Arms. We will fight a war. We will create technology. We will do it together. We are not enemies."

"Yeah I know, I know. But it's moments like this that you find bliss. You almost forget everything that's happening and you just... Talk. Clear your mind for a bit."

"It's always good. If you get lost in that world of fighting, shooting, stabbing, you'll go crazy."

Marker sighed, looking down as the dropship made a landing. The cargo ramp opened and Marker walked out into clearing

Cylus once again felt the rush of fresh air from the familiar campsite he had seen the day before. He followed Marker down the ramp
