*He follows, holding the book in plain sight*
What was that about?

"Ah, my log." Cylus says, finding it not to be in its place on his belt. He nods in gratitude. "As for the orc, that's the "supreme baker." He can make the best muffins, cakes, you name it. Thing is, he believes that his customers have to be worthy of the food, so he attacks you. If you win, you simply buy your meal. If not, you walk out with an empty stomach as well as some scrapes and bruises." Cylus says with a chuckle. "I didn't realize you had to beat him every time, so when I walked in, he sucker punched me!" As he took a bite of his cake, Cylus comments "Totally worth it though. And thanks for the assist."

Eh, it was nothing. Just another Tranq arrow. If the venom seeps in, given the depth, I'm gonna be looting the store soon. Oh, and, uh... *He looks at Cylus dead in the eye* I... may have read your stories.
-
"Not much to loot except for some pastries and a couple dollars." Cylus says. When the man looks him in the eye, he doesn't seem to react. "So you know my name then. What's yours?"
-
*He sighs a little* Call me Crossbow. It's what I've been called for millenia
-
"Millennia? If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you? And how old are you?" Cylus asks, inspecting the skeletal figure before him
-
Well, you see, I was from the Underworld. I was Mortal, but the way "People" there evolved, I lived quite a while, about 3 thousand years. But, I was impaled and killed. But luckily, a friend, or as some know him, an "Ex God" Brought me back, but since I was all rotted and disgusting I couldn't use my body, so the flesh was shed and here I am
-
"Fair enough. I too have had my fair share of death, but I didn't have any ex-god to bring me back. Dug my way out of my grave... But I haven't gotten to that part yet" Cylus says, motioning to his book. "On another note, where does one who lives in the underworld go once they die? Just a curious question..."
-
Well, all souls go to the Last Mausoleum, and when they run out of Ether emissions they have their souls transferred into a demon form. But with Underworld beings they cut the Last Mausoleum part out.
-
"Oh I see, and would you by chance tell me your name?" Cylus asks. "I never trust a man without a name. But after, we can move along with the story."
-
That, unfortunately, is one I cannot tell you. You will call me Crossbow and nothing else. Believe me, you'd have more trust in me if you didn't know my real name.
