"That's right! That's right I did! Which means I can't die again!" She said madly. "Now DIE! DIE! DIE!" She cried as she cut the other rope. The other rope flung up, and then, nothing happened. Diana stood there for a moment, looking at Cannon madly.
"W-why didn't it-"
Suddenly, the middle of the bridge snapped and the ice exploded as the half of the bridge fell towards the cliff side. Cannon felt his legs leave the ground as he was flung backwards towards the cliff. His body slammed into the side of the cliff, which made his arm feel like it was crushed by the fantastic impact as his grip on the rope became looser.

"Uurgh!" He grabbed the rope with both hands, gritting his teeth as he watched Diana.

As he looked down, he saw that Diana had gripped onto the boards. She climbed up ever so slightly as she let out audible breaths of panic. It seemed that in her stress, her magic had faded away and the massive blizzard dome followed suit and disappeared. She was about a persons distance away from Cannon, while Cannon was seven feet away from the top of the cliff. Suddenly, the familiar black curly haired pale skinned face popped up from over the cliff. "CANNY!" Bella called out as she looked down at him.

"Bella! Run!" He grunted, not wnating Diana to get her again as he began to slowly and painfully climb hand over hand.

"No!" Bella yelled. Then, Diana called out. As Cannon looked down, he saw that her left arm had completely snapped back. "HELP CAN!" She cried out. "DON'T DO THIS! PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU!" She yelled. Can saw the tears streaming down Diana's face as she held on with her right hand. She jumped up to grab onto another board with her only available hand, which put her at Cannons feet, and as she grasped on to it the board snapped and swung down only being held by the remainder of rope. Diana let out a cry as she held on for dear life with her only hand. "Canderouse! Grab my hand!" Bella yelled as she lowered her hand to Can.

Cannon hesitated for a moment before grabbing Diana and pulling her up slightly. He braced his other arm and feet as he climbed so she wouldn't be able to dislodge him, and slowly made his way up. "I swear if you make me regret this... I will kill you... And it will be much slower... And more painful... Than a slit throat..." He growled, his breaths laboured.

"D-don't worry." Diana told Cannon quietly. Suddenly, she pulled herself up, and locked her lips with Cannons suddenly and surprisingly. As she let go... Cannon felt his entire arm go numb. The one that carried Diana. "I'll take care of that part." Suddenly, Cannon saw his left arm became frozen in ice and it exploded, dismembering it from his left shoulder in a significantly less painful fashion. As the arm exploded Diana fell from its grasp as she laughed and cried on the way down. Her laughed carried through the canyon as well as her screams as she fell towards the water. Suddenly, she hit a rock that jutted out from the side of the cliff side. And the screaming went quiet as her body fell the remaining way and she crashed into the water below. Can looked down and saw that his entire left arm was gone. Blood spurted out slowly but it looked like his shoulder had been completely frost bitten which prevented blood flow. "CANNY!" Bella cried as tears streamed down her face as she looked down on Can.

"... Why not." He sighed, slowly working his way back up. He was honestly in to much pain to even care that his arm was gone at this point.

"C-can?! Your arm!" Bella cried as she held her hand out. Can could reach it now.

He took her hand, gritting his teeth as he climbed over the top. "Yeah... That stings... Ow..."

As Bella let out a grunt to help Cannon over the edge, he couldn't help but feel tired as he fell back on to the lightly layered ground of snow. Bella looked over him as his vision began to blur and darken. "Canny?! Canny it's going to be okay!" She told him.

He smiled slightly, knowing his augmented body would heal once he passed out. Bella actually heard him laugh quietly as he blacked out.

"Canny?! Canny!" Was the last thing he heard before all he saw went dark. [spoiler]End of chapter 33[/spoiler]
