"Do you ask the birds to change their flight paths? Or tell the wolves not to hunt their prey? Don't be naive Zane! What you are saying is..."
-
"Insanity I know, but not impossible. You can finally make the nightingale name mean something good!"
-
"Its name is already stained in too much blood." Aki told Zane in Denial.
-
"Nonsense, you can fix this damn clan. You know you can Aki!"
-
Aki looked down at the ground. Then towards his brothers eyes. "I...I suppose that-GAK!" Blood spurted from Aki's neck as the sound of a gunshot ringed out across the mountains. He dropped his blade, and grasped the slide of his now coated red neck with his hand as he stumbled and fell backwards. As he did, Zane saw a figure up ahead. They looked injured, and they seemed to be wearing a white camo for their attire. As the figure got closer, Zane saw their odd light blue complexion through the snow. Aki choked on his blood as he lay on the ground, the snow turning red around him as he breathed heavily.
-
"Aki no!" He held onto his brother, trying to stop the bleeding. Tears fell from his eyes and mixed with the blood. He looked up and glared at Falk with rage. "Why?! Why did you shoot him?!"
-
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Falk asked as he got closer. "He was going to kill you!" Aki continued to choke as blood poured from his neck. He looked up at the sky as he tried to hang on.
-
"No he wasn't! He couldn't kill his own brother! He was gonna change the nightingales, make them good!" He pressed on the wound harder, refusing to give up.
-
"What are you talking about?!" Falk asked. "What do you mean his own brother?!"
-
Edited by SDK Zane: 6/8/2017 10:08:56 PM"You just shot my brother!" He yelled with anger and sadness.
-
Falk's eyes widened as his mouth gaped. He took a few steps back as he looked at Aki and then to Zane. "No this...no..." he mumbled like he had gone mad. He stumbled around, and Zane saw Falk's legs become weak as the man fell down onto his ass. The Magnus of his daughter falling from his hand. "Z-Zane." Aki let out. His voice was gargled but Zane could make out his name.
-
"Common Aki, stay with me.....You have to live, you have to!" He cried out.
-
"Zane. I h-have to t-tell you something." He told Zane. "About S-Setsuna."
-
"What is it? What about big sis?" He asked.
-
"T-twelve years ago. She-*cough!*" he spurted a blood came up from his mouth.
-
"What happened Aki, what did she do?!"
-
Aki could hardly speak. Then, he was able to make out words. "Y-you have a Niece!" He told Zane. "H-her name is Bella...Tokage...."
-
"Bella....Where is she? Is she part of the clan?"
-
"Y-yes. She is the daughter of his leader. Ulfric tokage-" He let out another coughing fit as his face became a colour identical to that of the snow. He was a sheet of white on the snowy shield. "Z-Zane. I'm...ahh...." Then, his head went limp, as his eyes drifted lifelessly to the side.
-
Zane went silent then let out a loud cry. His brother was dead, murdered by his friend. Both his siblings were dead, and he never felt so alone in the world.
-
Falk looked blankly at Aki. Zane saw that his hands were trembling as he looked at the dead body of Zane's brother. His eyes looked wet but he skin around them was cracked and dry. His clothing was seared and burnt and Zane noticed the blood that was drawn from he man's cheeks and arms. "Z-Zane." He said softly. "I...oh god." He swore as he bowed his head.
-
"You didn't know.....you couldn't have known...." He said softly

"Why can't I? I killed my own damned son, your brother, and I couldn't stop A-Anne from...I couldn't stop it from..." he trailed off as a tear finally made its way down his cheek.
