"Wonderful. Any tourist attractions?"
-
"Not that I know of," Mark said. He offered her his hand, "But maybe we can explore this place together."
-
The woman looked down at the hand, a very light blush appearing on her cheeks. "R-right," She stuttered, taking the hand.
-
His hand was gloved. His gloves were firm yet, flexible. He wore gauntlets, over long sleeves. He had a vest over some sort of coat. He had on a pair of boots that were sleek around his legs.
-
The woman soon established a loose grip on Mark's hand, looking around the dojo. "So... where to?"
-
"I don't know..." Mark trailed off.
-
"Well, then what's the point in us holding hands...?" She smiled slightly at Mark, a little embarrassed.
-
"I'm sorry," Mark apologized. He let go of her hand.
-
"Oh, no, it's alright," The woman rebutted awkwardly, while shoving her hand into the respective pocket of her jeans.
-
"Listen..." his tone changed, to My heart belongs to another, but she'll never love me tone, "Maybe we could... get some drinks, sometime?"
-
Piper smiled kindly, and apparently did not notice the change in Mark's tone at all; neither did she think of the request to have drinks together in any romantic way. Maybe she was just oblivious. "... sure! I'm free now, if you want?"
-
Mark didn't think of it as romantic. He just wanted to get to know her.
-
"Um... well...?" She looked confused by Mark's lack of a response.
-
"There's probably a bar around here, somewhere," Mark said.
-
"Well, I don't exactly know my way around. I'll follow you?"
-
He started walking toward the Bar of Blades. He pulled down the hood of his cloak. Mark's helmet was quite simple.
