Suddenly, it was gone.
The presence, the pain, all of it.
The Ahmkara simply stared at her with an infinite sadness.
"Fine. You win. Kill us if you must, but I beseech thee, oh champion of Light, hear my plea."

"You may speak now. But not inside my head. My light is on fire. If I do anything else, it'll kill me," Sarah said.
-
"Fair enough." It gazed at her. "I am the last of my kind, as you know. Your Vanguard hunted us into extinction out of fear. I wish simply to live... That the memory of the Ahmkara may live. In return for this I shall grant you a wish."
-
"Your memory will never die...." Sarah said, "And.... ANYTHING?"
-
"Anything within my power, which is great. I could assure your love never leaves you, or forsakes you." It stated, having searched her mind for her worst fears when it was in her.
-
"Is reclaiming Earth from the Darkness within two weeks in your power?" Sarah asked, "Because honestly, that would be all it would take to make me happy."
-
"I can."
-
"I can."
-
"Okay, if you can, do that, and leave me, Finn, my family, and friends, alone, I'll let you live, and give you some stealth tech," Sarah said, "But if you don't honor your promise, I will hunt you down."
-
"I need no tech. But I shall do it. By this time tomorrow, the Hive will be gone from earth. By this time a fprtnight from now, earth shall be yours and I shall leave to seek my kind. Is there naught else you wish?"
-
"That's about it," she said.
-
"If you are sure..." It waiting a second in case she changed her mind.
-
"One last thing. Finn never leaves me," she said.
-
"He will not. I shall ensure that your fates remain together. Thank you, oh child of light." With that, it disappeared.

The Warlock smiled. She went skipping 50 miles in the direction she launched Finn.
