"Are...you suggesting I make a speech?" Henry asked her.
-
"Well...duh." She chuckled and patted his shoulder. "Why wouldn't you?"
-
"Besides my terrible stage fright and an event in junior high i would rather not relive? Meh. Guess I don't have any reason not to." He said as he walked out of the room with Lyn. It took them right to an elevator and he pressed the button for it to go down.
-
Lyn chuckled and hugged Henry for a second. "Sorry, I didn't know you had an issue. I would give it, but they don't know me as their leader."
-
"You have a point..." Henry said as the elevator door opened to the militarily made lobby. There was a massive hole blown out on the front, and Lyn saw the hundreds of people forming outside. "...oh boy." Henry commented as he looked at the crowd.
-
"You'll be great. Here's a confidence boost." Lyn suddenly kissed Henry's cheek before shoving him towards the crowd. "Good luck!"
-
He strutted forward as he turned to Lyn as he walked backwards. She saw his raised eyebrow and grin as he turned towards the crowd and walked outside.
>Go with him >Observe from the side lines
"Why thank you for gracing me with your presence!" Henry thanked her in his usual manner as he walked outside. Hundreds of men and women cheered as he walked outside, and even more did as Lyn walked beside him. Henry let them go on for some bit before he raised his hand to speak. "Men and Women of the Shi Canyon! Your oppression is finished!!!" Henry declared. The crowd cheered as he said his words and once it died down he continued to speak. "We stand here today, free men and women of Yorkstown. No longer will the Coldbourne's be able to oppress us with their blasted collars and shiny temptations. Today, we fought back and won!" The crowd cheered again, and Henry smiled at the people. "But, we are not done yet. We've won the battle but the war is still upon us! Faolin has firepower. He has strength. But we have the courage and bravery to defeat him! Tomorrow, we meet Faolin on the battlefield of the Quadric sands. There, we will finish this fight once and for all. So, I ask you now. Will you use your freedom to fight for the rebellion? Will you fight back against the oppressors who killed your family, stole your dignity and made you worth less then the human being that you are?! Will you join me in our crusade to bring Faolin to justice and end his fathers reign?!" Then, the crowd erupted in applause and agreement. People cheered the rallies of war as they raised their oppressors weapons to the air. "I'll take that as an astounding yes!" Henry exclaimed. "So, be ready. Because tomorrow we will end this once and for all!" The crowd cheered once more, and Henry let out a breath. Then, he spoke to Lyn. "Well...I think that went alright."
-
"Thank goodness I didn't have to speak." Lyn began to walk away from the crowd. "I hate crowds."
-
"Sometimes you gotta stand in front of a crowd to get a point across." Henry told Lyn as he walked with her. He looked up into the sky, then to Lyn. "So...Lyn. Are you ready to finish this?"
-
"I'm ready for anything, Henry." She turned to him as they walked.

"Good. Because we'll need to be..."
End of chapter 26
