"So what, you can capture us and torture us for information? Ya right." The man questioned. Bella took a step forward.
"We don't do that!" She told him.
"Oh, a child soldier huh? You cultist bastards really know how to be real dicks don't you?" The grenwald insulted as he spat on the ground.

Cannon tightened his hold on the prisoner. "Well what do you suggest we do? You can't trust us and we can't trust you, so..." He lowered the blade slightly so it wasn't actually against the man's throat. "Back off and we let this one go."

Bella suddenly let out a gasp as she looked up at the prisoner Can was holding. "It's a girl!" Bella exclaimed. "You can't trust them!" The woman said. Can could see her stark looking face barely from under her green hood. "Don't do it!"

"Bella, lower your bow. No one needs to die today." Cannon said. Then lowering his voice so only the woman can hear he adds. "Look, I have no quarrel with the Grenwalds. I'm not a cultist, and I don't worship any damn dragon. But if you want to make it out of this alive, you've got to convince your buddy to back off." He whispered in her ear.

The woman went quiet as she listened to his words. Her mouth opened ever so slightly and Can couldn't help but notice a really odd sense of understanding on her face. Bella lowered her bow, and as soon as she did so the man drew his own and took aim at Bella. Bella let out a gasp as she froze in place. "Really stupid mistake!" He said. "Ethan! Drop the bow!" The woman told him. He seemed to flinch at the words. "What the hell are you talking about?! A hostage for a hostage! It's a very simple Situation!" The man known as Ethan said "We both know you are not going to kill a little girl, Ethan!" "What do you know Abby?! Maybe I won't kill her, doesn't mean I can't make the Tokage see sending kids to war is a bad idea...." "W-whoa just...calm down..." Bella told Ethan. "I...don't want to hurt you." "Ya, maybe you don't. But what about all your friends at home, huh?" Ethan asked Bella who seemed to be keeping her cool.

"You shoot and I'll tear you into more pieces than anyone can count, or you drop the arrow and your friend goes free." Cannon called, stepping between Bella and the archer.

"God damnit." Ethan cursed. The woman turned her head ever so slightly to Can. "Take me instead of him...trust me, you'll have an easier time." She whispered to him. Ethan continued to have his bow raised, but his draw shortened. "Fine. You win, bastard." Ethan cursed as he threw his bow to the ground. Bella quickly raised her own bow again as it's arrow was still nocked.

Cannon releases the woman. "If he tries to grab the bow, shoot him." He told Bella as he signalled her to back up.

Bella nodded as she kept her bow trained on Ethan. The man raised his hands up, as did the woman called Abby. "So? You have what you want. Now what are you going to do?" Abby asked Can. "Remember what dad said." Bella reminded Can. "We have a mission..."

"We beat them. Nobody hasvto die here." Cannon told Bella.

"No one has to die. But we can't let them escape either Canny." Bella told Can. Abby watched the conversation quietly as Ethan's face was visibly red from under its green hood.

"Right. Well we aren't in any position to take them prisoner, so what do you suggest?" He asked.

"Aren't we?" Bella asked. "We have weapons, they don't. We blindfold them and take them to the camp. Just like what happened with you when you got to the woods!" Bella said. She suddenly turned her head and her cheeks became a little flushed with anger. "I still can't believe you would hurt Canny like that! What did he do to you?! He was just a Shepard!" Bella began to say.

"Bella, we should get out of here..." He said, glancing around for an excuse to leave.

"No! This is our initiation Can! And you should want to take these two back to the camp more than anyone!" Bella almost yelled. "I can't believe you two!" She said to the grenwalds. "What did he do?!" "What the hell-" "Yes! We did chase Canny!" Abby interrupted Can. "We are evil people and didn't want him in our land! So we tried to kill him!" Abby seemed to cover for Can. But...why? "Ya! You are!" Bella agreed. "But at least you admit to it! That's the first step to being a nice person!" She continued on with an innocent smile on her face.

He shot a slightly confused look at Abby before nodding. "You're right... Do you happen to have any blindfolds?" He asked Bella.

"I always keep some handy!" Bella said as she let her arrow down and took two blindfolds out of her pocket. "...for...reasons...I won't tell you about!" Bella clarified.

"Um... Ok..." Cannon replied, picking up his bow. "You want to blindfold them?"

She was actually to short to reach Abby, so the starkly pale looking woman eyed Can as she went to her knees to help Bella put the fold around her head. She didn't have as much luck with Ethan. "Screw off, kid!" Ethan told Bella. "I'm not letting you parade me through the damned forest blind!" Bella twirled on her heels and put her fists on her hips as she looked to Can for help.

Cannon walked up and puched the guy in the gut to make him double over. "Look, mate. I want to help the two of you. I'm not a cultist, but I need to keep my cover if I'm going to be any help so why don't you make both our lives a bit easier and stop being a pain in my shebs." He whispered, taking the blindfold and tieing it around his eyes. "Got anything to tie their hands with?"

"YUP!" Bella said in her usual manner as she took out more cloth from her cloak and handed it to Can. Ethan was quiet, but that could've just been because Cannon winded him.

Cannon tied their hands, Ethan's he tied tightly, but the girl's were tied rather loosely. They looked secure, but she could easily pull her hands free if she really tried.

"Mind if we get this show on the road? Dinner is waiting at home after all." Ethan said rather sarcastically. Though this sparked a bit of a giggle from Bella who grabbed the man's hands and began to walk him back the way her and Cannon had come from. Abby looked up at Cannon silently, but she was relaxed.

Cannon took her by the hand and began to lead her along. "I'll try to help you two get away as soon as I can." He whispered quietly.

"That's the best thing that was gunna come out of this situation." Abby told Can. "Thank you, at least for not killing me or Ethan that is."

"You're welcome. So... Why'd you believe me? I really didn't expevt you to." He asked, still in a hushed tone.
