Okay, this is where I teach you the marvelous ways of proper role-playing
What you just did, is that you created an environment in my plot, which is wandering into a territory known as "Plot-jacking"
Plot Jacking, is basically doing something, or adding something to someone else's plot, even though they already gave you an environment to work with
So, what you did was you created a patrol, created a map of the castle, and you created an entire room within the castle.
Please edit your response accordingly!
It's alright! Practice makes perfect, and mistakes make it easier to learn!
Edited by BondyMilk: 5/1/2017 1:53:17 AMCylus takes advantage of the distraction and quickly disables the two men, knocking them out with blows to the face and chest. Cylus concludes that the throne room would most likely be on an upper floor, but he decides to start from the bottom and work his way up, just in case. This way, he could also force all of the IMC soldiers into one area for easy pickings.
Revised
Cylus drags the two unconscious bodies into the room where Marker was and then closes the door. He then proceeds to walk down the hallway, hugging corners and keeping an eye out. He needed to find a stairwell or a window to get back to the first floor. He draws one of his two knives and sneaks through the castle halls, careful not to attract any attention just yet.
-
There ya go! Better already, bud!
There is alot of yelling through the halls, and a number of troops run into the hallway that Cylus is standing In. Luckily, they all turn a corner into a separate area of the castle, none of them having spotted Cylus He can see that the area they had come from was dead ahead, looking like a spiral staircase
-
Thanks!
Cylus exhales in relief to see the guards run past him. He peeked around the corner to see them run down the halls, and he made a break for the stairwell. He entered and made mental note of its location for when he would come back. Cylus keeps his blade ready just in case, but eases on his grip. He knew to always be cautious in unfamiliar territory, so he kept his guard up. He takes the stairs and descends to the first floor
-
The stairs exit out into a ballroom like area, Three tables sitting in the middle of the room. A map of the castle sat on one of the tables, with bits and pieces of weaponry on them as well The only problem however, was the two men posted at each of the four doors in the room. Along with the three that sat at the table, and the two patrolling... There were 13 Men total. He'd have to distract them, or go in there guns a blazing
-
"Well isn't this grand" Cylus mutters sarcastically. He looks at the ceiling for high ground to observe his enemies from, such as support beams or a chandelier. This way, he could easily get to the center of the room without being spotted.
-
There indeed was a grand chandelier that swung over the middle of the ballroom, over the tables that held the map, in the center of the room A series of support beams were also up there, potentially being able to get him to the chandelier
-
"Perfect" Cylus thinks to himself. If anything, now would be the time to try out the suit's vertical abilities. He launches a grapple at one of the support beams and pulls on it, bringing him up into the air. He then makes the motion as if he were jumping again midair, and just like Marker promised, thrusters gave him a "double-jump." Cylus lands on one of the support beams leading to the chandelier and he silently creeps across it. Observing the men below, their positions and weapons alike.
Which walls are the 4 doors on? One on each?
-
Two on the far wall One on the right hand Wall One on the left Hand wall
The ones against the doorways held assault rifles, clad in grunt armour. The three sitting down weld shotguns, two of them being clad in grunt armour and one of them wearing Pilot armour As for the two walking around, carrying SMGs, clad in grunt armour. It quickly became apparent that the man in the pilot armour was the head of this squadron
-
Cylus remembered Marker saying that the armor he wore was Pilot armor, so he knew what to expect. As for the grunts, they must have had the same capabilities as he had. Cylus concluded there would not exactly be a stealthy way to do this, so he decided to go in guns blazing. He hovered above the man wearing the pilot armor and held his knife in hand. He took a step from the beam and fell through the air, landing on the man's shoulders and putting the blade through his skull. He kicked over the table and drew his two handguns, emptying his magazines on the two grunts across from him.
-
The two grunts fell backwards onto the ground, and the two that were patrolling turned their SMGS onto Cylus' position, letting loose a flurry of bullets between the two
-
Cylus grabs and uses the Pilot's body as a shield from the gunfire, turning and using one of the shotguns to fire back.
-
Of the men fell due to the shotgun shells, though the second ran back, exiting out into the hallway, presumably to warn the other operatives. The guards standing at the doors, also began opening fire, and Cylus still didn't have the map He needed to get the map, and get out as soon as possible
-
Edited by BondyMilk: 5/1/2017 2:57:51 AMCylus sees the urgency and curses as the second grin flees. He turns to lie on his back and pulls out his assault rifle. Pressing his feet against the table, he then activates his thrusters, kicking it across the room. It flies and smashes right into the grunts near the far wall, knocking them over and crushing them on impact. Cylus quickly turns and fires, getting precision kills on the remaining 4 men. He gets up and brushes himself off. "What a mess," he says. He looks down at his feet and finds the map. He didn't have time to read it now, so he picked it up along with a grunt shotgun and runs back to the stairwell. He ascends and looks for a place to hide.
-
Voices scream through the castle, footsteps are heard coming up the stairs behind him. He exited out into the hallway where Marker had been, the door leading into the room was wide open, and Marker held in open, motioning for Cylus to get inside "Bloody Good job." He said, almost sarcastically
-
Cylus sprints and slides into the room just in time. As he closes the door behind him, he hears the footsteps and shouts of his pursuers. He couldn't hide forever. As Cylus greets Marker once again, he pulls the map from his belt and unfolds it, spreading it out onto the floor next to the two unconscious bodies. He motions for Marker to come help him out. After all, it was his castle.
-
"Here." Marker said, kneeling down and double tapping the map to create a holographic 3D image of it. He pointed at the third floor of five, where only one exit led into the throne room. A double door
-
Cylus zooms into the throne room. "Any structural weaknesses? Roof? Floor? Walls?" he asks. He observed the surrounding rooms and looks at Marker.
-
Each wall of the throne room wasn't even a wall. Five feet of concrete sat between the throne room and each room by it. The room above it also had five feet of concrete, essentially making it a bunker "Well you could always blow it up. And risk the hostage."
-
"And the room below it?"
-
"That would be the ballroom." Marker said, zooming out and pointing at the Grand room where Cylus had gotten the map. He hadn't realized it earlier, but the ballroom itself took up two floors, the roof of the room actually right below the throne room, separated by three feet of concrete mixed with wood and steel
-
"Is there an armory anywhere? I can do wonders with some termite and charges."
-
"Well you could always check the storeroom and dungeon area in the basement." Marker said, pointing to the kitchen that contained a set of stairs leading downwards, presumably into the cellar
-
"I see." Cylus says. He rolls up the map and places it back in his pocket. I better get going." He opens the door and listens peeks his head out, looking both ways.
