"Yes, yes. It's fine. At least you have the decency to wear a cloak..." Marzia said as she looked at some of the red cloaks. It's possible that she was referring to Diana.

He followed as fast as he could. "You're very excited, aren't you?" He asked.

"Well YA! Dad might be making something like, super good?" She told him as she continued to run down the road. Eventually they made their way down a street where there was a wooden two story home in front of Can. It had a window on he second floor and a porch that rested in front of the door. "Here we are!!!" Bella declared. She suddenly stopped for a moment before she looked up at Can. "Um...you...actually wanna come in right?" She asked him genuinely.

He smiled slightly. "If that's ok, yes." He replied.

"YAY!" Bella let out excitedly as she pulled Can up the stairs of her porch. She opened the door and walked him inside. Inside, there was a large room to the left. This room had a small dining table with four chairs seated at it. In front of the fable was the kitchen, were everything like the pantry and stove were lined up. The room also seemed to have a few reading chairs away from the eating area and a few shelves of books along with a fireplace. To the right where a set of stairs that made their way up to a second floor. At the kitchen, a red cloaked man had his hood down and the smell of cooked spices, vegetables and meat filled the room. He turned around to see the two enter. "Well! Bella! Look who you brought in!" Said Ulfric Tokage with a smile.

Cannon smiled sheepishly at being dragged in. "Hello, sir."

"Canderouse. It's good to see you!" Ulfric greeted. Bella let go of Can and ran at her father, giving him a hug. "Whoa you! Have you been showing Canderouse around today?" Ulfric asked his daughter. "Yep! It was fun! We talked to Marzia, then Welters!" "I see that!" Ulfric told her with a smile as he gestured to her knife. He looked to Can. "Thanks for tagging along with her then, Can!" Ulfric thanked.

"It was no problem. She's fun to be around." Cannon replied, smiling slightly.

"That she is!" Ulfric declared. "Anyways, you are staying for dinner, right?" The Tokage leader asked Can as he stood up and worked on his food again,

"If that's alright with you, sir." Cannon nodded, remaining polite as possible.

"Of course! Of course! Sit down!" Ulfric gestured to the chair closest to the door that Can could sit at.

Cannon bowed politely and sat down. "Thank you, sir."

Bella immediately ran to the chair beside Can and hopped into it. She smiled up at him, but this moment was interrupted. "Ulfric? Dear? Who's here?" A woman said. Diana walked down the stairs. Her hands moved across the railing as she stopped and looked at Can. "My, my! Canderouse! What brings you here?" She asked him.

"Just stopping by for dinner, ma'am." He replied, smiling politely. He had already decided he wouldn't pull anything in front of Bella.

"Oh! That's amazing!" She said as she made her way down the steps. She knelt down in front of Bella. "And how are you today little miss?" She asked Bella dotingly as she pinched the little girls cheeks, "Am Fiene!" Bella made out through the overly motherly attention. Diana smiled, but Can couldn't help but feel a falseness to her. He knew who she was and what she was doing. That's what made the situation worse. Bella rubbed her cheeks and looked a little mad. "Mmmm. Smells...delicious." Diana complimented Ulfric and his cooking. "Wouldn't have it any other way Dia!" Ulfric told her. "Now sit down. It's just about ready." Diana sat down in front of Cannon. She smiled at him with her lips closed. Then, Ulfric brought plates to the table. One had slices of steak stacked on it, there were five of them. The other seemed to be a variety of cooked carrots, beans, red peppers and rice. "Dinner. Is served!" The chief declared. "YAY!" Bella yelled excitedly and raised her hands in the air. Ulfric chuckled as He sat down.

Cannon chuckled as well before begining to eat. He enjoyed the food immensely, since he was used to flavorless rations. Anything with flavor was good to him.

Suddenly Bella slapped his hand as he took a bite of the food. "You have to wait!" She said. "It's fine Bella. He is new, after all." Ulfric said. He turned to Can. "Canderouse. We have to pray before we eat."

"Sorry." He said, looking embarrassed.

"It's just fine Canderouse." Ulfric accepted his apology. "Bella, would you like to pray?" "Uh, sure!" Bella agreed as she closed her eyes and bowed her head. Ulfric did the same, as did Diana. They wouldn't see Can at all from how they gave their prayer. He wouldn't have to conform to their religion if he didn't want too. [spoiler]>Pray >Do not pray[/spoiler]

Cannon bowed his head as well, though he definantly wasn't going to be praying to a dead dragon. He kept his head bowed politely until they finished praying.

Diana looked at Can, a glimmer in her eye before she casually asked "Pass the vegetables, if you don't mind". [spoiler]End of chapter 12[/spoiler]
