As she entered the building, it was incredibly quaint. There was a single desk ahead of her with someone at a computer. Otherwise, it was just a few other terminals and then the door to leave.
whats weapons does Lyn have on her?
Lyn walked up the the person on the computer with a smile. "Hello! Do you know where Dave's Bar is? I'm supposed to meet a friend."
9 1/2 in. kabar knife strapped to her right calf at the moment. Her sword has to be "summoned", meaning it'll fly down from the sky when she needs it.

Think you could scrap the italics? I know it's habit haha
The man at the desk looked up at Lyn. There, she noticed he had some sort of collar around his neck. "Of course. Let me pull that up for you." He offered. After an awkward silence of a few clicks, the man pulled his monitor up for Lyn. "Here you are. You can take a picture of it with your phone." He told her.

Edited by Stitch: 4/19/2017 1:12:33 AMLyn pulled out a pink rose colored phone and took a picture. "Thanks, sir." She waved as she walked away.
-
The man waved back to her sadly as she exited. As Lyn left, she saw that she was right in Yorktown now. Cars drove by on the street in front of her, and people were bustling about. All of them looked like they were in a panic as she walked across the side walk. She also noticed a significant amount of them had collars around their necks. To add on to that, some of the smaller buildings that surrounded her looked... Burnt.
-
"...What's up with the collars?" Lyn mumbled to herself as she walked towards the bar. She observed the city as closely as she could while she walked, hoping to pick up on anything that could be useful.
-
As she walked, she suddenly passed by a large group of people. Armed guards surrounded them, and all of them were chained together like animals.
-
Lyn pulled out her phone and walked up to a guard. "Hello! Sir? Could I have a minute? I'm an amateur journalist and I was wondering if you could quickly explain what's happening here."
-
"Get lost lady! Before we collar you as well!" The large guard said to her as he pushed her into the wall with his massive machine gun. Lyn hit her head on the wall as he did this, and the group continued to pass. One of them, who looked like a boy seemed to try to say something to her. Then he whispered it. "Help us." He whispered to her as he continued on his way. But if Lyn were to try anything now, her cover would be blown...
-
She held her head, pretending to be hurt. "Sorry, kid. I'll find you, but I can't right now." Lyn glared at the guard and several thoughts raced through her mind about doing something now, but she knew better. She simply followed.
-
The direction all of these guards were going was the opposite direction of the pub. If she were to continue on this way she could lose valuable time, and her time to meet the rebels was approaching with two hours to spare. Currently, it was noon.
-
Lyn knew she could easily run back if she had to so she continued to follow.
...Don't know how to make this longer
-
perfectly okay.
So, she continued to follow. She kept her pace so that the guards would not catch on to her. Eventually they walked into the suburbs of the city... Which had been turned into a massive slave camp. The massive camp was gated off and armed guards lined it completely. There was only one entrance, and it had massive turrets positioned on it. In the middle of the camp seemed to be a massive new building that flashed lights every second all around it. That was all Lyn could see before the gate closed with the guards and prisoners inside.
-
Edited by Stitch: 4/19/2017 2:01:24 AMLyn sighed at the sight of the camp. "F*ck me." She began to casually walk away and then started to run when far enough away to not be suspicious so she'd get to the bar in time.
-
She finally reached the dingy looking bar with only a few minutes to spare. "Daves place." Was labelled our front, with a man as the logo who drank a massive keg of beer with one hand. The bar had no windows of any sort, so Lyn couldn't look in to begin with. By now, she had four minutes.
-
Lyn walked in with a professionally faked look of confidence and a slight sway of the hips. She made her way to the bartender and sat on a stool. "Where can a girl get a Hennessy apple scotch around here?" She asked the bartender.
-
The pub was rather large. The main floor had eight tables and the bar had four benches. There was a stair case that went up to a balcony that had more tables. But then Lyn realized her company. All of them. Armed men. They all had military grade machine guns, and they acted nonchalantly as the girl entered. They also were all wearing body armour. There were also men of a similar calibre on the balcony. The bartender had his back turned to Lyn. He seemed to be wiping something off the counter. He had white hair and he was rather large. "Hennessy doesn't make Scotch." The man said almost grimly.
-
"Oh? A friend of mine recommended it. I was supposed to meet him here." Lyn looked around a bit more. "I'm not exactly from here."
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/19/2017 2:47:03 AM"Looks like you're friend..." The bartender started as he turned around... To Lyn's horror. The man had had a pale edged face and brilliant blue eyes. His face was scarred, and his hair was pure white and shaved on its sides. "Made a TERRIBLE mistake." Faolin said as he wiped blood off of his fists. Lyn noticed he had been wiping bloodstains off of the counter, and that there was a corpse in the corner. A large man with a light white painted machine gun walked in front of the exit. He cocked the machine gun, and it was ready to fire.
-
Lyn looked at the guard, a terrified look on her face. "S-Sorry umm...I'm just an amatuer writer looking for a story. I-I don't mean to g-get into any conflict."
-
"Oh?! That so?!" Faolin said to her with a chuckle. "Well why don't you sit down? I'll give you the exclusive of your career..." he told her as he walked around the bar. He grabbed a bottle of vodka and placed it on the counter and sat on a stool. He patted the seat next to him and indicated for her to sit.
-
Edited by Stitch: 4/19/2017 2:34:53 AMLyn looked around, shaking in her seat before she switched to the seat beside Faolin. Her hands shook as pulled out her phone. "Th-Thank you, sir. Umm....You w-won't kill me, r-right? I-I m-mean no harm."
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/19/2017 2:36:31 AM"Mmmm. I bet you don't." He said as he snapped his fingers. One of his soldiers immediately brought two glasses over and poured two glasses. Faolin slid one of the glasses over to Lyn. "So. What's your name girl?" He asked Lyn. Though there was a sadistic grin on his face.
RED ZONE
Edited by Stitch: 4/19/2017 2:37:06 AM"Rachel C-Crow...sir." Lyn gulped and kept her eyes fixed on the ground now.
-
"Rachel Crow? Who're you a journalist for then eh?! Spit it out!" He demanded.
-
Edited by Stitch: 4/19/2017 2:39:44 AM"I-I'm new! I said writer! Not journalist! I-I j-just..." She started to cry a little. "I-I w-work alone....I h-have a website...."
