Having taken the offered refreshment, Ite takes a sip and closes his eyes to enjoy the flavor. Opening them once again, he responds to Haknir.
"To be honest, I have no idea how I ended up here. I just sort of, show up to events like this. It's almost like some lazy writer controls my life."

"I assume by that you mean the old land of Tamriel?" Ite took a good swig from his beverage, then searched for any server holding snacks. "On the subject of castles, I wonder the ulterior motive of this gathering."

Haknir picked a small piece of cheese off as well, but only looked at it for a short time. "Well a little bit of fun never hurt anyone. Of course, I have to make money too though, it is my business after all." He took a small bite out of the cheese.

"Well if you do your job well, don't you only need to do it once to have all the treasure you could possibly need?" He popped the cracker in his mouth, savoring the flavor for a second, then swallowed after a thorough chew.

"Well I work for a crime boss. A constant flow of income is good for everyone." He kept taking smaller bites of his food, obviously not used to the taste.
