The Fate of Warlock Grey
Black Garden, Meridian Bay, Mars
The roses of the Garden waved in the wind. A Warlock walks among them, carrying the eye of a minotaur in her hand.
She doesn't care about the thorns tearing into her robes. She simply walks toward the large cliff.
When she entered the cave, she shivered sensing the prescence of an old, ancient power.
Green fires burned like columns as she approached the age-old, precursor hobgoblin that was draped in bright green moss.
In front of the seemingly frozen vex unit, lay a red scrying bowl made to look like a rose.
She lies the eye into the bowl, saying, "O prophet of the skoteino kipo, what is my fate?"
The old hobgoblin powers own, its eye turned violet, and the air with green mist.
Thee. Warrior who forges thy own fate, whose destiny is in thy own hands, wishes to know thy future. This is a paradox.
"Truth. I seek truth. Also, the reason I exist is a paradox. My life is a paradox surrounded by other paradoxes. I am still mortal."
I see. The fate of the living paradox, the last of the Grey warriors. Does thee wish to see thy future, Warlock?
"Yes."
The green mist swirled around her like a whirlpool.
Terra reclaimed,
With a force of light,
This new Golden Age,
Won't come without a price,
The void accursed,
Her power will be stronger,
With a swift stab,
Hunter's reign will be longer;
The last Grey warrior,
will meet their doom,
bound to the four armed,
and the broken tomb;
A friendship broken,
Smashed like tin,
The Titan's daughter,
Will rise again.
The hobgoblin's eye turn off, and the mist disappeared. The eye of the minotaur was gone.
The Warlock left the cave, muttering.
