"Humble too, eh?" Falk asked with a smile. The celtics began to drag the bodies into a pile, and the rest of the village came down to where they were now as well.
"Well. Looks like we can probably go talk to the Jarl while they take care of this." Falk told the two.
"What? Don't wanna see em burn a stack of corpses Falk?" Alex asked the man jokingly. But Falk didn't find it very funny
"No. I'm thinking we should secure this alliance sooner then later."
"Ya, ya okay. Let's move back to the castle you two. Unless you wanna stay, Ari?" Alex asked the girl.

"I'll come along, though...I'd hate to miss out on the barbecue. Then again, a barbecue with zombies isn't exactly appetizing.." Arianna joked, as she cleaned the blood and gore off her pale white face, which revealed a cheery young smile. She sheathed her longsword beside her nodachi, shrugging off blood as she let out a breath. "Best get going, heh."
-
"Now that I think about it..." Falk started after looking at Arianna's mess of a state. "We should probably wash up. Get some rest. I'm sure the Jarl will be there in the morning." "What? Why wouldn't we just go see him now?" Alex asked as he wiped off his bloodied brow. He then realized he was completely coated in blood. "Oh...ya...you know what that's probably a good idea."
-
"Yeah...I guess we're staying for the night?" Ari then noticed just how gruesome her appearance was, almost held in a gag. Then she noticed Alex's, and well: didn't take it too lightly either. "Yeah. Definitely."
-
"Alright, we meet the Jarl in the morning then!" Falk declared. The group made their way to an inn, where they were able to wash up and sleep for the night. The next morning was grey with the clouds looking like they would rain any second. The group arrived at the gate of the castle, to meet a similar situation from before. "Hey!" The guards yelled. "What are you doing back here! We told you-" "Rodrick stop being a dumbass!" The second guard interrupted. "These are the foreigners who fought the dead last night!" "Wha?! These foreigners?!" "God damn right! And the Jarl wants to see em personally! So open the FUKING gate!" Alex looked to the two with a smug grin. "Well! Looks like that plan worked after all!"
-
"This is honesty somewhat entertaining, least to me," Arianna muttered after snickering about the guard's conversation, proceeding to follow Alex and Falk into the castle once the gate had opened for them.
-
"Ya. These guys are an interesting bunch that's for sure." Falk said as the group walked across the bridge into the castle. There was a small plaza, and the group walked across it to reach the inner sanctum. They walked across a large room covered in different animal hides and heads until they reached the throne room door. The guards opened the door to the throne room. It wasn't the largest throne room there was, but it was certainly quaint. A wooden throne rested at the end and there were windows across the walls so the light came through. It had a tall roof, so this area seemed to have fresher air then the rest of the castle. On the throne sat a large man. He was not fit, like the guards who stood ahead of him. In fact one could say he was simply fat. He had red ginger hair and a short red beard that covered his chubby scarred face. "SO!" Jarl Haakon belted. "You're the group of foreigners that defended my FINE city last night eh?" He asked them. "Damn right we were!" Alex put. This seemed like a strange way to address royalty. "Alex what are you doing?" Falk whispered at him. "You would talk that way to the lord of this realm?!" The Jarl interrupted. "Bend your knee to me you snowy haired prick!" He demanded.

Edited by Orn: 4/11/2017 9:16:11 PM"Y'know, for a brave, heroic Jarl? You certainly lead your men out there, as they died against those damned zombies." Arianna interrupted the Jarl sarcastically, even in an almost hateful tone. Her hands were balled into fists, her tone laced with venomous intention. "Hiding away in your precious castle, as the true heroes sacrificed their souls for you. While we - foreigners - took action against them. Something that...what, you haven't done in months? Instead of taking on this menace, you've seemed to hope on hiding away, cutting their infinite numbers down in an endless cycle of death? So if you don't mind, treat my friend here with respect. Because I'll bet money that he's just as good as a leader than you'll ever be."
-
"Long story short, I ain't bowing for shit." Alex finished. Falk looked at both of them with a clear "what are you doing?!" look as the Jarls face scrunched up into a pout. But soon his small pouty mouth turned into a large grin and he bellowed in laughter. "HAHAHA." He let out as he stood up. It looked like it required quite a bit of effort on his part. "GIRL you should try to be three hundred pounds heavier!" He continued to laugh. "Ah. Finally a bunch of strangers with a pair of cocks between there legs. You know how many fucking suck ups walk through my door? Like these two here?" He asked as he gestured to the two guards. "Too many?" Falk asked. "TOO. GOD DAMN. MANY! IT PISSES ME OFF LIKE YA WOULDN'T BELIEVE!"
-
Arianna didn't respond, although she blushed at the comment that he had made about her weight (Arianna only weighed about one-hundred and fifty pounds, which was quite light for someone who was 6'3). She shrugged it off, nodding with the Jarl as she motioned for Alex to speak. She...wasn't the best with words.
-
"I get it! Kiss asses are the WORST." Alex agreed. "Like, don't get me wrong, they have their uses, but they are some of the BIGGEST liars out there." "Ah! You're right ya white haired -blam!-! How can I trust people who lie about liking me every day? Have some damn backbone and tell someone what ya really feel for gods sake!" "Your fat and incredibly stinky." One of the guards interrupted. The Jarl turned to his right to look at the guard. Then, he turned to the other guard. "Gerald," he started. "Kill Egor please." Egor looked in fear at the much larger Gerald who took his light machine gun off his back and aimed it at Egor. "HA! IM KIDDING FOR FUCKS SAKE!" Haakon declared. "Put the damn gun down Gerald before ya shoot your damn foot!" Falk awkwardly laughed at this sadistic joke. While alex raised a high eyebrow and chuckled. "Now that's power if I've ever seen it." Falk said. "Damn right it's-WHY THE FUCK IS YOUR SKIN BLUE?!" The Jarl trailed off as he looked at Falk. "Oh. Former king of an alternate purgatory realm. Don't mind it." Falk answered simply. This oddly enough replaced the large Jarl. "Huh. Got it". Haakon said with a hint of suspicion. "So," Alex began. "Guess I have to introduce myself yet, right? Alex Coldbourne, head of Infinite Corp. This man beside me is Falk, and the tall lady here is Arianna." Falk saluted casually upon his name being called.
-
Arianna only sarcastically curtsied, smirking as she rose up to her full height. "Alex, you know that I'm not the chatting type. Get to the point." The clone of Irina didn't exactly want to speak to the Jarl, due to the fact that she didn't view herself as important, or knowledgeable, to the situation at hand.
-
"Ya, ya cool your jets." Alex said to her. "So, Haakon, I wanna secure an alliance with you." "An alliance? For what?!" "I need more men. Right now I'm In the tens of thousands, but you have some of the most dangerous bastards known on Tatakai. I want some men, and I'm willing to pay." "You sound like ya want some prostitutes for christs sake!" Haakon bellowed. "What? Are your men willing to take care of that department as well?" Alex asked the Jarl jokingly. "HA! Maybe with Egor here!" Haakon gestured to the guard. "That being said, I don't want money. I want your own resources when the time comes. I got two other Jarls who want my fat ass on a platter!" "Why would anyone want that?!" Falk asked with a smile. The Jarl bellowed at the comment and wagged his finger. "You are all smartasses you know that?" Haakon commented. "Fact is, I'm a target. And I live in a nation that only wants new weapons, nothing else related to technology." "What are you getting at Haakon?" Alex asked him. "I want you to help me invade the other islands and take them over!" Haakon declared. It hardly took alex a moment before he answered. "Out of the question." "What?!" "You heard me. My company believes in freedom Haakon. And justice. I won't help you invade other islands so they can be plummeted into a war of greed."
-
"Why not take care of the zombie threat firsthand?" Arianna mentioned, sighing after a moment. "I mean - all three of us saw what was going on down there. And soon, those two nations won't want your fatass on a plate, because said fatass will be overrun and eaten by the undead. There's no way that you guys can handle that horde forever, and...well, I'm sure that Alex would be find with assisting Ragnarok in the extermination and eventual ridding of these zombies."
-
"Tell ya what." The Jarl started. "If you can figure out a way to stop the creation of these beasts, be my guest." "Creation? What makes you think they're being created?" Falk asked him. "Because, just a few weeks ago a sorcerer turned up stating he could figure out how to find spies in my city. In exchange I gave him safe haven. Soon after...well...the first attack happened. We lost dozens of good men since then. And the damn sorcerer couldn't be found. We searched his place, but we couldn't find a whiff of him." "So you don't have any leads?" Falk asked. "Not a damn one." The Jarl answered. "Okay. Well it seems like we're at a bit of an impasse then don't you think?" Alex asked Haakon. "No shit we are at an impasse! But I'll tell you what. If you want to secure this alliance? It's fine by me. I think we should negotiate a trade or something." "Trade? What do you mean?" "I mean, you establish a small base here so you can give some of your men and their fancy flying machines to me to defend ragnarok! In return, I'll give you some of the finest foot soldiers free of charge!"
-
"...I think that's a pretty good deal. Y'know, we should come around when the next attack from the zombies occurs, so we can see if said sorcerer finally reveals himself. Sound like a plan?" Arianna looked between the three men, hiding away an inspired look. She stood between kings, rulers...leaders. She wondered if she would ever match their greatness - perhaps she would.
-
Alex thought for a moment before he gave his answer. "Ya, Haakon. Sounds good to me. Plus, I'm sure some of the boys could learn a thing or two from your men!" "Like how ta properly fu-" "OKAY GREAT WE HAVE A DEAL?!" Falk interrupted. Haakon chuckled at the sudden interruption. "Damn right we have a deal!" The Jarl agreed. Him and Alex shook hands, but the white haired man's hand was buried in the massive Jarls hand. After releasing the Jarl bellowed again. "OHOHO! You three haven't even been apart of a good o'l Ragnarok party! I must throw one in celebration! They're will be drinks, dancing, FOOD, and whores! Haha!" "Ha! As fantastic as that sounds, I got to get this girl back to her mother." Alex gestured to Irina jokingly. "Wha? Invite her mum over here then! I'd love to get acquainted! Ha!" "Trust me Haakon, if you knew her your opinion might change!" Alex declared.

((Mfw a Jarl asks to get acquainted with Arianna's mom https://m.imgur.com/0Zc7f4d?r "Jarl, if I didn't know better - you must have a thing for married psychopathic murderers who would rather slaughter your kin instead of looking at you. Am I...correct?" Arianna joked, although she shrugged afterwards. "I think I'll skip the party, to be honest...Not exactly in the mood to end up pregnant."
-
"Hmph! Suit yourselves then! I'll be here then! Drinking alone! With Egor and Gerald!" Haakon said as he sat back down on his throne. "Will we actually be able to drink Jarl?" Gerald asked. "HA! OF COURSE NOT! IM DRINKING ALONE AND YOU TWO HAVE TO CLEAN UP THE MESS! HAHA!" The Jarl bellowed again. Alex chuckled at the extroverted man. "Thanks Haakon. Make sure to not drink yourself to death though eh? I want those soldiers!" "Oh haha Fuck off Alex!" The Jarl said. He dismissed the three, and the group exited the throne room. "Well. That went surprisingly well!" Falk said. "Damn right it did. I don't settle for mediocre Falk." "Clearly. I'm just wondering about that sorcerer now. You don't think it was-" "No. No I don't think it was Tywinn." Alex interrupted. "He's good with the sorcery for sure. But necromancy was never his department."
-
"-To be quite frank, I wouldn't be too sad if he died from alcohol poisoning. Er...then again, the other kingdoms don't sound too grand, so...guess he'll have to stay alive." Arianna joked, although her attention was then drawn to the mention of the sorcerer. "Can one of you give me an idea of this Tywinn? I mean, Isaac's probably stalked him to hell and back, he's...weird like that. I don't mean literally stalk, but.. Never mind that. Just tell me, please."
-
"I doubt your brother has stalked him at all. If he did, you probably wouldn't see him again." Falk said. "Tywinn is a powerful warrior. He's good with all forms of destruction magic. We're talking fire, ice, electricity you name it. He's also a strong defensive spell caster, probably the best. That being said he's also good with a sword. Probably better then any of us. ...and he's also my father." Alex clarified.
-
"Mm...so strong offense, spectacular defense, and one of the best swordsmen alive...and your father." Arianna sighed - and that's when her inner Irina went loose. Well, she didn't go killing everything, but... "Where does he draw his magic from? What are his limits? Is he immune to blood manipulation? Will Isaac have to supply everyone with shielding just to stand a chance? And will I have to use Alex as bait to piss him off- U-Um..sorry," As she realized what she had just said (in about five or six seconds total, too), Arianna blushed red and went silent.
-
Alex, to her surprise, answered however. "No idea. Himself or hell. Doesn't have a limit besides dying. Probably. Don't even know if the shielding will work against his attacks. And if it means catching him, hell yes. But it probably won't work, considering he was smart enough to come back from the dead."
-
"...I'm going to hope that you're on good terms with your father? Because the capture bit may be our best chance, if he's an actual suspect in this...I don't see him as the type to not blast us all away immediately." Arianna sighed, as Alex's father oddly reminded her of Irina. Except Irina was a psychopath and didn't have magic, but she did relate to Tywinn in the melee category. Speed? She didn't know, as Irina was one of the fastest combatants she knew.
-
"Welllllll...." alex trailed. Then, Falk interrupted. "Arianna. You heard of the Fierce Deity right?" He asked her.
-
"The Fierce Deity? ...Explain, please. I've heard the name, at least.." Arianna waited for an explanation, as otherwise...she only knew that the Deity had something to do with a mask.
