"Yeah... that's me."
-
"Name's Jamie 'Pox' Reager. Just thought I'd drop in to say I'm ready for duty again."
-
"Let me pull of the records," Mark says grabbing a holopad. After scrolling through the holopad, for a few minutes, he found her named, "Jamie Reager. Says here that you were K.I.A. Mission in Old Russia involving a nuclear warhead. Years ago."
-
"That's me. Different timeline." She replies, shrugging nonchalantly.
-
"Don't worry, I'm used to people K.I.A showing up alive again in some way. Happened to a buddy of mine. Titan named Cody, went on a suicide mission to the Black Garden. Year later, came back alive and well. Okay, I have you down in active duty," Mark said.
-
"Thanks boss." She replies, walking out.
-
"Not a problem," Mark called. Outside the Hall of Guardians, James stood, Delphi and Lunar still playing "Hooked on a Feeling" in his ears.
-
Pox walks past. "Thanks for the ride, Titan." She tells him on her way to the hanger. She suddenly stops and walks back to the vanguard hall. "Hey Mark, is my vault account still open?"
-
"I would assume," Mark replied, "Ugh. My vocabulary improved. I think I spent a decade too long on a fireteam with a Warlock."
-
Pox laughs. "Ha, that's why my team was Hunters only."
-
"I will say, it was worth it because she was hot," Mark replied.
-
Pox laughs. "That seems to be the one thing that keeps Hunters from just going solo, isn't it?"
-
"I guess it is," Mark chuckles.
-
"So, how'd you get stuck as vanguard?"
-
"I told Cayde, if I lost a bet to a Warlock, I'd take his post," Mark explained.
-
"Ah." She nods in understanding.
-
"Good luck out there," Mark tells.
-
"Thanks." She heads out towards the hangar, passing JJ again.
-
He smiles and waves.
-
Pox waves back. "Thanks for the ride, JJ."
-
"Not a problem," he replies.
-
"Still, thanks. Maybe I could buy you a drink or something sometime." She says, walking towards the hangar.
-
"Maybe we could," he mutters.
