"You know what Ari, I was thinking the same damn thing." Alex agreed.
"So. Zombies again huh?" Falk asked. "Guess this will be fun!"
The group made its way down the village. Men had their guns out on every corner as they were ready to defend. Arianna could hear gunshots in the distance, near the docks.

"Then let's get going," Arianna drew her nodachi, but instead allowed it to transform into it's fun formation: She simply held down her thumb against a button upon the handle, as the blade and hilt began to shift and change - the blade slid back and look to shorten, as bits extended outwards from the hilt and formulated a barrel of carbon. The handle itself began to transform and shift, becoming a stock and body for a fairly large sniper, equipped with a stand for usage. Arianna loaded the weapon with a massive magazine that she kept at her waist, checking the chamber and revealing a .50 caliber round. "I'll keep this on standby, if...well, any big guys show up." She alerted Falk and Alex, before beginning to seek out higher ground above the battlefield.

Falk and Alex both raised an eyebrow at the contraption. "Uh...right." Falk said. Ari soon figured out that the entire city was designed for a battle scenario. It was built on a hill, after all. So she always had the high ground. The group continued to make its way down to the docks, where they saw the Hordes... Humanoid creatures. They all had pale blue skin that was sickly and torn. They were soaking wet, as if they just came from the sea. Their eyes bulged out of their skulls and glowed an ice cold blue. They ran into the hailfire of bullets the celtics shot at them, but the creatures had already made it past the walls of the docks. The group noticed that a large gate had been completely destroyed as they arrived at the scene. The creatures were still a bit away, but they were making a push. The celtics made use of the rooftops and the wall they stood on to establish a choke point, but if someone were to run out of ammo they would surely be overwhelmed. Luckily, all of them were using massive light machine guns. "Holy shit!" Alex let out.

"This has being going on for weeks?!" Arianna signed, taking aim and firing into the masses of zombie-like beings, bullets hopefully cutting through the abominations as Arianna carefully placed her shots. It was so she could pull off some "two birds, one stone" situations - or well, three birds/one stone, and continuing.
-
This seemed to be an effective tactic, and the celtics turned around surprised by the sudden assistance. "Fuck long distance." Alex said as he drew his blade. He then charged down the hill to meet the zombies in close combat. "Alex?! Wait! Oh for crying out..." Falk cursed as he reached into both sides of his coat. He pulled out two black colt 1911's and twirled them as he ran down the hill to fire upon the pale husks.
-
"Oh, for the love of... F*ck it," Arianna didn't waste time as she followed the two men, sniper transforming back into its sword formation as she merely sheathed it, drawing the 23" inch long shortsword at her side. The considerably thick gladius blade shifted before it extended outwards and slanted, becoming a 40" inch longsword - much more capable of dishing out damage against hordes, especially against armor. As Ari got close, she was able to see the creatures closer up. They were all decayed, and some were basically skin and bone. However some looked fresh, and almost human. Besides the blue skin and bulging eyes. Ari also saw that their teeth were incredibly long and fang like. This resulted in all of the creatures mouths to be pursed and open all the time as they ran ruthlessly at their oppressors. Alex swung his blade into the crowd, and cleaved through nearly a dozen in a single stroke. Falk shot at the husks heads with his pistols every time, and dropped bodies one by one. The celtics gave an astounding yell of triump as some of them wanted to get in on the close quarters fun, and used the barrels of their guns as bats as they bashed in the skulls of the enemy with brute strength.
You are free to cleave through the enemy as you see fit.
Edited by Orn: 4/9/2017 9:48:13 PM
Oh boy. Not sure if this is...too much...but I can edit.
Arianna charged into the midst of combat with nary a peep, greatsword clasped within her hands as she descended into the fray of zombies. Her body - no, her entire being - began to glean with a luminescent blue light, cyan in color yet darkening due to the apparel that she bore. The same light ignited over her weapon, as a ferocity never before seen within the girl's eyes sparked. Arianna moved throughout the battlefield like a blur, as countless Undead began to fall. Graceful like a dancer, yet as brutal and murderous as a tornado - Arianna's entire being was covered in the remains and dark red liquid that had once belonged to the zombies, although she didn't seem to care too much as pieces of flesh, skulls and worse continued to fly into the air from her rampage throughout the enemy forces. Damn, that was edgy.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/9/2017 9:53:25 PMAs Ari cut and cleaved her way through the undead, alex and Falk were doing their rounds as well. Alex jumped and sliced and cut and diced his way through the mob as his own torso was coated with the putrid blood of the creatures. Falk kept on firing his pistols, and never missed a shot as he kept the creatures at bay. The celtics continued to push the creatures back further and further towards the gate as piles of the dead stacked high. Then, Ari was jumped. The undead climbed over the wall, and tore into its guardsmen like paper as they ate their flesh. One of the soaking wet and blood ridden creatures jumped down on ari and tackled her into the ground. It's strength was surprising as it held her down. It's breath smelt of decay as it's mouth retracted back and lunched at the girls throat. Before it could do that though, it's head was cleaved off. The corpse fell to the side and the head snapped at Ari. As she looked up, alex stood above her with his hand offering to help her up. "C'mon! It's not past your bed time is it?!" He asked jokingly.
-
"Not yet," Arianna groaned, pushing the body off and grasping Alex's hand as she pulled herself up. She only nodded towards him, sighing afterwards and retreating to higher ground - Arianna wasn't as focused before, but with her Semblance, she ran through the battlefield with remarkable speed.
-
The creatures tried to grasp her but she was too fast for them. It also didn't help that while they were distracted by her they were being cut down by alex, Falk and the celtics. "FIRING LINE!" One of the celtics called out. "GET BEHIND US UNLESS YOU WANT A BODY FULL OF LEAD!"
-
Arianna didn't waste any time, although she began to try directing the zombies off of her - mostly because if the men were firing upon the zombies, well...it wouldn't end too well for her. Once she had gotten the attacking zombies off of her trail, she ran up to the celtics and decided upon joining their firing line, staying behind them and prepping her rifle.
-
Alex and Falk ran to the line as well, and just as they did the celtics opened fire on the beasts. Their guns blazed with flames as everyone fired at the diminishing horde.
-
Arianna joined in on the shooting, Dust-enhanced rounds slamming through zombies with incredible ease. Her effort wasn't needed, but...she thought that it would look good.
-
And that it did. The small army soon relinquished all of their ammo, and all of the remaining corpses. "WHOO! THAT GOT THE BLOOD PUMPING!" Alex let out. "Damn right!" Falk added. The celtics cheered soon afterwords.
-
Arianna only allowed a few satisfied breaths to escape her, as she simply slung her rifle over her shoulder and waited for the cheering to end, as she approached Alex and Falk. "We did it...holy hell, we did it!"
-
"That we did!" Alex yelled out, which resulted in the celtics to cheer again. "Holy Crap Arianna. You were a menace out there!" Falk complimented the girl. "Where did you learn to fight like that?"
-
"I...well, Mom helped somewhat, alongside tons of training in Yharnam and with my brother. Falk, it's truly nothing of importance." Arianna chuckled a little to herself, embarrassed in the mass of cheering celtics. She didn't see what the big deal was, funnily enough.
-
"Humble too, eh?" Falk asked with a smile. The celtics began to drag the bodies into a pile, and the rest of the village came down to where they were now as well. "Well. Looks like we can probably go talk to the Jarl while they take care of this." Falk told the two. "What? Don't wanna see em burn a stack of corpses Falk?" Alex asked the man jokingly. But Falk didn't find it very funny "No. I'm thinking we should secure this alliance sooner then later." "Ya, ya okay. Let's move back to the castle you two. Unless you wanna stay, Ari?" Alex asked the girl.
-
"I'll come along, though...I'd hate to miss out on the barbecue. Then again, a barbecue with zombies isn't exactly appetizing.." Arianna joked, as she cleaned the blood and gore off her pale white face, which revealed a cheery young smile. She sheathed her longsword beside her nodachi, shrugging off blood as she let out a breath. "Best get going, heh."
-
"Now that I think about it..." Falk started after looking at Arianna's mess of a state. "We should probably wash up. Get some rest. I'm sure the Jarl will be there in the morning." "What? Why wouldn't we just go see him now?" Alex asked as he wiped off his bloodied brow. He then realized he was completely coated in blood. "Oh...ya...you know what that's probably a good idea."
-
"Yeah...I guess we're staying for the night?" Ari then noticed just how gruesome her appearance was, almost held in a gag. Then she noticed Alex's, and well: didn't take it too lightly either. "Yeah. Definitely."
-
"Alright, we meet the Jarl in the morning then!" Falk declared. The group made their way to an inn, where they were able to wash up and sleep for the night. The next morning was grey with the clouds looking like they would rain any second. The group arrived at the gate of the castle, to meet a similar situation from before. "Hey!" The guards yelled. "What are you doing back here! We told you-" "Rodrick stop being a dumbass!" The second guard interrupted. "These are the foreigners who fought the dead last night!" "Wha?! These foreigners?!" "God damn right! And the Jarl wants to see em personally! So open the FUKING gate!" Alex looked to the two with a smug grin. "Well! Looks like that plan worked after all!"
-
"This is honesty somewhat entertaining, least to me," Arianna muttered after snickering about the guard's conversation, proceeding to follow Alex and Falk into the castle once the gate had opened for them.
-
"Ya. These guys are an interesting bunch that's for sure." Falk said as the group walked across the bridge into the castle. There was a small plaza, and the group walked across it to reach the inner sanctum. They walked across a large room covered in different animal hides and heads until they reached the throne room door. The guards opened the door to the throne room. It wasn't the largest throne room there was, but it was certainly quaint. A wooden throne rested at the end and there were windows across the walls so the light came through. It had a tall roof, so this area seemed to have fresher air then the rest of the castle. On the throne sat a large man. He was not fit, like the guards who stood ahead of him. In fact one could say he was simply fat. He had red ginger hair and a short red beard that covered his chubby scarred face. "SO!" Jarl Haakon belted. "You're the group of foreigners that defended my FINE city last night eh?" He asked them. "Damn right we were!" Alex put. This seemed like a strange way to address royalty. "Alex what are you doing?" Falk whispered at him. "You would talk that way to the lord of this realm?!" The Jarl interrupted. "Bend your knee to me you snowy haired prick!" He demanded.

Edited by Orn: 4/11/2017 9:16:11 PM"Y'know, for a brave, heroic Jarl? You certainly lead your men out there, as they died against those damned zombies." Arianna interrupted the Jarl sarcastically, even in an almost hateful tone. Her hands were balled into fists, her tone laced with venomous intention. "Hiding away in your precious castle, as the true heroes sacrificed their souls for you. While we - foreigners - took action against them. Something that...what, you haven't done in months? Instead of taking on this menace, you've seemed to hope on hiding away, cutting their infinite numbers down in an endless cycle of death? So if you don't mind, treat my friend here with respect. Because I'll bet money that he's just as good as a leader than you'll ever be."
