It happens later does it? Oh well I can handle bugs when the game is fun to play (cough Fallout 3 cough cough).
I do genuinely hope D2 is incredible though. D1 is over for me now I think.

Watch for crashing. Itll almost never happen off your ship so save often on your ship.
