They reached a window one the top of the tower, where supposedly Val, in her tucked black sweater and jeans, was holding off two Phantoms, all of which were unarmed. She had pushed one back with her palm, before turning to the other one, roundhouse kicking her. She turned back to the other one, moving into some sort of fighting position, along with the Phantom. The window was in fact bulletproof, so they couldn't shoot through there.

Ha! Foolish Dio. The crew moved above the window as Ghost fired the missile in his jetpack into the window
-
Nice try.
The blast nearly collapsed the roof on top of the two, as they both tackled each other into the next room.
-
;-;
The crew, seeing the failure of the missile searched for another way in
-
*Well...there was the giant hole they made right there.*
-
YOU NEVER MENTIONED THAT!
Ghost flew into the tower, falling to the ground inside it. Serendipity and Nobel rappeled inside, and the three Got down behind cover, looking around
-
;)
The door that Val and the Phantom tackled themselves into needed to be bypassed. An M-96 Mattock laid in the corner, while a datapad containing 4250 credits laid below the beaten Phantom's body.
-
Of course, Ghost went over, transferring the credits to him self as Talath got to work on the door. Serendipity shot a Carnifex bullet through the beaten Phatom's head
-
With the Phantom dead and the credits transferred to the account, the door seemed to be open.
-
Magical ^_^
Ghost and the others moved into the opened doorway, weapons raised
-
In the room, Val's foot seemed to be in the Phantom's neck, stuck up against a wall. Both seemed to have bruises all across the body, as a weakened Miranda kneels at what seemed to be some sort of special biotic handcuffs or so. The Cerberus agent, Cheryl, had a gun to Miranda's head. No one seems to notice their entrance to the room.
-
Ghost moved to the side, and fired the weapon out of Cheryl's hands, and Noble follewed up by restraining her. Serendipity moved over to Val, providing an extra hand in the fight
-
Although she had no weapon, she still was trying to elbow Noble to get out. "Where's Oriana?!" Val yelled toward the Phantom, who simply laughed like she was a maniac. "Yeah..." Miranda mumbled, most likely almost out of all her biotic strength. "Where is she?"
-
Noble took most of the hits very well, his spartan armour was tough. Serendipity stopped, raising her hand gun at the woman's head. Talath and Ghost checked the rest of the room for any potential threats
-
"You...you think Maya's gonna let Oriana live! Ha! She already has them. Cheryl just was her way of getting in; she's gonna turn the sister into a war machine that'll kill you a-" nothing else was said afterward as Val twisted her neck with her foot, effectively killing the Phantom. Both Val and Miranda looked toward Cheryl, both somewhat pissed at her.
-
Ghost: "Now now Ladies. Let's not do anything rash shall we?" Noble: "Agreed"
-
"I...want...to kill that son of a.." Miranda said, barely able to breath from the biotic chains locked to her wrists. Val redirected focus from the agent to Miranda, trying to break free the locks from her.
-
Serendipity: "Sorry for raining on your parade Val. Jack told us to follow you." Noble kept Cheryl on lockdown, Serendipity spoke to Val while Ghost and Talath looked for anything of use
-
"Yeah...the Illusive Man sent me." She said, as Miranda was freed from her chains. She could barely stand up, much less be able to throw some biotic ability toward Cheryl, instead just throwing a light punch her way. She seems almost like the jumpsuited Lawson was sleepwalking. Around the room, multiple credits contained in terminals were around the room. A small datapad laid nearby.
-
Ghost transferred any and all credits to his account while Talath read the data pad Serendipity: "A solo mission? I don't like it. Times of war are not times you should be alone."
-
"Thought it would be incospicous. No one would expect an Alliance operative to be in civilian clothing with only her martial arts...and alone. Plus, I handled the Phantoms just fine." Val replied, sending information about the mission back to the Illusive Man. In the datapad, it contained information about some "Project Lazarus" and about the cloning of Commander Shepard.
-
Serendipity: "Sweetie. After doing years of work as a mercenary. You learn nothing is as inconspicuous as it seems." Talath continued looking through the data, hoping to find something he could make sense of.
-
"Well, I don't think you could kick my butt when the time came. Plus, being tortured by Cerberus kinda puts you at an advantage." Val started to reply, as she checked Miranda's vitals. Talkathon started to see the locations of multiple Cerberus operations that were commencing. Illium. Marek Prime. Noveria. More locations started to come up.
-
Talkathon
Ghost: "Kick your ass? We'd have no reasoning behind that." Noble: "Unless we were paid of course." Talath looked over at Val and motioned to her
-
LMAO, stupid autocorrect.
Val walks to Talath. She whispers, "I only meant the walking cookies and cream Turian over there." , to Talath.
