Altar and Emma stood nearby. Altar walked up to him.
"Kross. Why are you here?"

She bends down and checks Royal for a pulse.

[b]He sat up, throwing Altar back as his hand wrapped around Kross' throat [/b]

"I guess that answers that question." Altar stood back up. "Now Royal, just calm down, Kross isn't getting off unscathed with this."

[b]Royal released Kross, who fell onto his back and gasped for air. Royal rose up to his feet, looking at Altar. [/b] "I'm going to make sure of that."

"What happened exactly? Vince said you just vanished after Artorias showed up."

"I did. And I woke up in the dungeon of some castle. Have no clue where.

"What happened then?"

"I dunno. It's all hazy after that..."

She turns to Kross. "What did you do?"
