The AI's hologram appears, it's the image of a young girl in a military uniform. "As of Dust protocol section seven subsection three, I am not allowed to leave. Also, we need to destroy the wreckage of my ship."

"Can I ask why you aren't allowed to leave?"

"Like I said. Protocol. In the events of a battle commencing, ship AIs are not to leave their stations. Now, I suggest you move this dropship. We have about five minutes before the frigate explodes. Get to minimum safe distance of seven kilometers.

"Moving." [b]The ship turned and moved out of the range of the explosion, headed for the planet.[/b]

Five minutes later, the massive frigate dissapears in what looks like a miniature sun.

"That was the self destruct?"

"Indeed. That was the reactor going critical." Replies Serenity.

"Interesting choice... So what are you going to do on this planet?"

"Well, since you're not going to evacuate, I'm going to find someone else to ask. If that fails, I'll help you prepare."

"No one would be willing to leave this place. I hope you're aware."

"Do you remember the simulation done some time ago by a mercenary known as Cannon Lok? It involved a worst case scenario situation?"

"Very well. I was in it."

"Picture that, but one thousand times worse." She tells him.
