There was a strange howling in the distance, and movement was seen in the trees
"I don't trust this..."

Altar stiffened. "I sense something, it feels strange, cold." Vince had his gun at the ready.

Edited by Royal Blade: 2/21/2017 5:35:44 PMThe howling grew louder, until a pack of a dozen wolves emerged from the forest around the four. In front of the group, was a large wolf holding a sword in its mouth. It was huge, at least three times the size of the others. Altar summoning a magic sword and shield. "I hate wolves." Vince fixed a blade to the end of his cane. "Same here."
-
Teriar and Jeremiah looked towards the back, and the four were in a circle, watching the wolves from all directions. There were at least a dozen and then, one of the wolves leaped, immediately being cut down by Jeremiah. A second wolf, then a third and fourth. Then the third and fourth wolf pounced upon Altar, while the second was cut down by Teriar
-
Altar threw one wolf away with her shield and impaled the other on her sword. "Any ideas!?"
-
"We fight!" Sif leaped into the fray, charging straight through the four and making them stumble backwards. He stopped in the middle, and spun around, his tail hitting Teriar and sending the Knight into a tree. Jeremiah was able to roll out of the way, only to assaulted by two wolves. Vince was sent to the ground, and a wolf hopped onto his chest, biting for his neck... It was up to Altar to save them. But she couldn't save all of them... Could she?
-
Steeling herself, Altar unleashed a carefully controlled burst of teleportation magic, bringing the three safely to her side. She then proceeded to collapse. "I can't do that again, make it count."
-
Sif and the wolves began approaching, the pack spread out "On the count of three. Make a run for it You guys."
-
"You sure?" Vince replied as he helped Altar to her feet.
-
"Yeah. I'll hold them back...." He split into two separate entities, each looking identical. He then split into four. "One, Two. Three!" Jeremiah grabbed Altar and Vince, sprinting towards the mountains as The four Teriars engaged the wolves
-
They ran.
-
Chapter Two: Thawing the Heart Yelling was heard as the trio Ran, looking up from the base of the mountains. Jeremiah pointed towards an entrance that led into the mountain "Through there..."
-
They move towards the base, alert and ready.
-
Jeremiah entered the cave's entrance, with Vince and Altar following https://imgur.com/n9K8Fm3 "This cave system is huge, how will we ever find Kross?"
-
"I could sense him if I wasn't so drained still." Altar said with a sigh. "We shouldn't split up, it's too risky."
-
"Then what would you suggest?" Jeremiah looked down into the cave, a small icy bridge above them. The bridge had a set of stairs leading up to it, making for easy access In front of them was just more of the cavern. >Go across the bridge >Continue inside
-
"That bridge is sketchy, let's head on in."
-
"Perhaps..." Jeremiah began walking, but the suddenly stopped. The wolves could be heard, their howls echoing through the cave. "It seems they went through Terry. We must hurry." The large Knight broke into a jog, going through the cave
-
Vince quickly followed, nearly carrying the exhausted Altar.
-
The trio entered an even larger cavern than the first one, with a built-in castle that lay in the ice. Jeremiah started towards this castle, entering through the main gates and than shopping to wait for the others
-
They followed. "What is this?"
-
"Seems like a... Castle built into the ice. The craftsmanship is incredible." Jeremiah began pushing one of the gates closed, as the wolves came into view Chapter Three: Buried Alive The gates were closed, and the wolves were kept out, clawing at the door hopelessly. Jeremiah took a step back, admiring the courtyard castle gates "Who could've done this?"
-
"I don't know." Altar sat at the wall, nearly falling asleep. "Remind me to never teleport three people that exactly ever again."
-
"Do you need some rest? We could always take a break if you needed to."
-
"I could certainly use one." Altar replied. "A rest would be wise."
