This new fight had purpose, a duel. He knew he had no reason to kill his opponent, so he need to find a nonlethal way to win. Assessing the situation, Timothy figured that he had no option to fight other than in close range. He wanted to learn the properties of his opponent's weapon, so he swung his out in an attack that was impossible not to block.
-
Royal swung his own blade clashing, with Timothy's own. The blade still had its glow, but didn't seem to do anything
-
Timothy quickly thought about where his remaining ammunition for his rifle were, and remembered an extra pouch on his waist. He reached for it and pulled out a dart, attempting to jab it into his challenger.
-
Royal spun backwards and out of harm's way, swinging his blade at the hand that held the dart
-
Timothy saw what was going to happen, and he knew that he had two choices, he took the less damaging of the two, dropping the dart onto the sword, and watched it explode onto himself, the liquid getting onto his blade, mask, and cloak. His hand nearly avoiding the biting steel.
-
Royal retreated backwards, taking a few steps to ease a potential attack He really entered a defensive position
-
Timothy moved around in a circle, trying to confuse his opponent
-
Royal watched Timothy's movements, making sure he was ready for anything
-
Toothy's blade retracted, as to move faster, and he rolled forwards under the line of sight.
-
This was met with a swift kick in Timothy's general direction
-
The kick collided hard with Timothy's shoulder, disorienting him and stopping his evasion, but he still made a grab for royal's leg, hoping to grab his foot.
-
Timothy succeeded, latching onto Royal's leg as he frustratingly kicked into Timothy over and over
-
The attacks barely registered, due to the strength of his armor, as he worked to pull his opponent down next to him.
-
He succeeded, and Royal fell to his back besides Timothy
-
Timothy quickly threw off his coat, trying to smother his enemy with it.
-
Royal pushed Timothy off of him and clambered onto Timothy's chest, throwing punches towards Timothy's face
-
Timothy's mask cracked, and a sliver of it fell off, revealing a face that seemed to have no emotion. He took the shard and tried to plunge it into the man on top of him, while trying to bring his sword around.
-
Royal stopped punching, holding Timothy's hand down, or at least the one that held the sword The shard succeeded in stabbing Royal, but bounced off as it hit his armour
-
The shard broke as it tumbled out of his hand, and he brought it back down onto his enemy's head
-
This was rather difficult, with Royal being on top of Timothy. He caught Timothy by his fore arm, keeping him completely pinned to the ground
-
Struggling, Timothy tried, in a last ditch effort, to swing his leg out and around, as to push up and dislodge his opponent.
-
This yielded no benefits, Roy had the upper hand. And Timothy was pinned beneath Roy, with not many options
-
Timothy saw the lack of an easy way out, so he moved his head upwards with a high velocity in hopes of smashing his opponent's head
-
Royal jolted his head upwards, and Timothy ended up crashing his forehead into Royal's chest
-
Timothy saw this as an advantage, pushing up and rolling up and away, getting back into a defensive state.
