[i]she takes it holding with both hands and start channeling electricity into which can be easily seen as arcs of electricity pass over her hands into it. Before long its holding a descent charge and hasn't blown up at all yet.[/i]

"I'm going to try now, keep it steady." His Ghost appears, scanning the glowing spire. "Ok, comms are up. I suggest being quick, it's still not completely stable." He nods.

"Hello? This is Guardian McNamara to the Tower. Cayde? You read me?" There's silence for a moment before Cayde's voice can be heard. "Fionn? Yeah, we hear you. You find a way back yet?" "Still working on it. Could you put my sister on the line?" "Sure, hold on a sec." Elevator music plays.

The music ends and the voice of a young girl can be heard. "Fionn? Is that you?" Fionn's face lights up. "Hey sis, just thought I'd call in an' wish ya a happy birthday."

"Are you going to be home for my party?" His sister asks. He winces. "I... I really with I could, Bree. But I'm stuck in another time stream." "I heard." "I'm really sorry, sis. I wish I could be there." He looks extremely sad. The piece of spire begins to heat up, it's core simply too damaged to keep a charge for long.

Fionn dives for cover as well. The spire explodes, the shockwave throwing him several dozen feet backwards.

Fionn slowly rises to his feet, smoke curling off his armor. "Ow... Ow... Ow..." His Ghost floats around him.
