Before he could climb down though, a blue lance of energy shot out, latching onto his leg like a hook, and then he felt it get yanked out from under him, pulling him off the wall and into the destroyed area.[/b]

In reality, she had moved after she dragged him down out of caution, getting to the side, taking cover behind the ruins of an old chapel. After though, seeing her bait failed, she attacked. It took mere seconds, as Amanda appeared on top of him, the only indication being the sudden snap of a twig under her weight and the roar of a thruster pack. Launching up in the air, she came down on top of him, a large kukri knife in hand.[/b]

Finally. *he fired a huge magic missile at her, also drawing his sword*

[b]She couldn't move, obvious at her state in the air, but she wouldn't fly backwards either. The missile hit, exploding as her shielding flared a bright ruby red, weakening, as she still sunk and impacted the ground. The concrete cracked, splintering under her near 500 pound weight, as she rolled with an odd elegance. Lunging at him once she was back upright, she knocked the sword to the side with her own knife, moving to tackle him.[/b]
