Edited by STDs101: 12/16/2016 1:33:10 PMRandom, but Sometimes I really do wonder if scientist actually understand science, honestly. The way a lot of them transcends science beyond for what it really is amazes me.

41 RepliesThe climate is always changing. Minor swings are entirely normal. In the 70's, they were warning of an upcoming ice age. Now? Global warming. The fact is this: this planet, and the entire universe, are not static. There is nothing that we can do to prevent climate change. The climate change scare mongers make a fortune off of their movies and books. It's a very profitable business. If you want to believe a meteorologist that can predict the weather correctly 60% of the time, go for it.

5 RepliesClimate deniers? I don't think anyone denies that there is a climate.

Climate change is not equal to global warming. Sure, it is changing, but not everywhere is getting warmer.

I would explain this more but I have things to do. Edit: sorry about how obnoxious this post may seem, I just literally had no time to explain.

I got a strong urge to argue against you but then I remembered I believe in climate change.
-

climate change is real and always has been, question is how much humans contribute to that. sadly, you cant point out every single co2 molecule and label them "man-made" or natural causes, so you're arguing semantics here. also, calling yourself smart because you believe the same as 97% of people is just sad.

I think climate change is obviously true, but i can see why many in rural America do not believe in it
Remember this simple fact: the scientists understand science far better than you ever have or ever will
But what if I become a scientist? Will they still understand science better than me?

24 RepliesClimate change is a natural part of earth's cycle, a lot of people don't realize that. The problem is that we accelerated it, so instead of taking a couple millenia, it's taking a couple centuries
-

Biased poll but I believe in climate change but I don't believe that humans contribute to the warming of this planet as much as everyone thinks we do. Earth has had warming periods are cooling periods forever.

I believe climate change is real and people do have an effect on it but probably not the the point that people are hyping it up to
