"Woah. That seems a bit... Extreme."
[i]He looked at Pan, who was most likely still writhing on the ground.[/i]

[i]Pan was floating several feet off the ground trying to get the rope off.[/i] [b] Artemis:[/b] "Yeah, she's losing it. The first time I met her she wasn't nearly this crazy."

[i]Then a wave of concern washed over Xavier.[/i] "Wait... Crazy?" [i]He walked over to Pan.[/i]

[i]Pan continued to focus on the ropes as she floated. Artemis stood behind Xavier.[/i] [b]Artemis: [/b]"Yeah, she's been going down hill."

[i]Xavier sighed, taking off his glasses. He then put his fingers on the frame and pressed heavily, cracking them.[/i] "So... What's on your mind?"

[i]Artemis looks confused, staring at the glasses.[/i] "Why did you just purposely crack your lens?"

[i]He put his glasses back on, then placed his hand on Pan's head. Then Cyphis energy started to flow.[/i] "Let's see what you've got inside..." [i]He started to attempt to look through Pan's mind.[/i]

[i]Excruciating pain shot through Xavier's head as he was flooded with an infinite amount of incoherent voices screaming at him.[/i]

[i]He quickly took his hand away.[/i] "Holy fûcking Jesus what was that."

[i]Pan giggles.[/i] [b]Pan: [/b]"What was what?" [b] Artemis: [/b]"The hell did you just do?"

"Uhh..." [i]He placed his hand on Pan's head again.[/i]

[i]The pain and volume of the voices slightly increased from last time.[/i]

[i]He used his Cyphis energy to drown the noises out. He needed to fully immerse himself in Pan's real thoughts.[/i]

[i]For a moment it seemed like there was only complete silence without the voices, but an extremely quiet young male voice could be heard.[/i] "Help me."

"Hey, uhh... Who is this?" [i]In reality, he seemed to be speaking to seemingly nobody.[/i]

[i]The voice was distorted and sounded like it was in a constant pain.[/i] "B-Bedlam...Who's there?"

"I'm Xavier. What's going on here?"
-
"I-It's Pan! She's dying! You need to help her! Her voice has been drowned out by the chaos and she's losing herself to it."

[i]The further he went in the louder the voices got and the more painful it became.[/i]

[i]He put in more Cyphis energy in order to fully immerse himself in her mind, and to block out the voices a bit.[/i]
