"H-he mentioned some sort of crew. Alex never mentioned a crew.....but....he told me that he'd done some bad stuff in the past, he was going to teach me to shoot....actually he was supposed to do it today"

"That... That sucks. I feel for you. Just... I know what you're gonna be going through. It's gonna be horrible. I'll help you through it, though. I'll be here for you, okay? Just... When it all sinks in, try to be calm, okay?"

"I was... I was different. I used to be scared of everyone, terrified. He hugged me. I used to not do well with contact."

"Oh.....I.....You scared me because you reminded me of those people that....that....well....I used to be a normal girl....then.....then there was a fire and I was hurt, they took me away in the process and turned me into this....then started opening me up, and taking parts away...like part of those horns and my left eye"

"really? Y-you aren't joking? Same color and everything?" her right eye lit up, and you noticed something odd about it that was similar to Alpha's, the pupil was a deep shade of violet, like Alpha's iris was blue, and his pupil was deep azure

"Yeah. Might be a little hard to do the unique coloring work, but I can do it. It'll glow a little in the dark, though. Is that fine?" [b]Ry was happy to help Beta. After how nice Alpha was to her, it seemed like the least she could do. She was always looking to use her skills, anyways.[/b]

"that's.....frankly that seems a little cool, does that apply to both or just the one?"

"Just the one I'm applying. Oh, and you might have to do some maintenance on it. Depends how the operation goes."

"Like come on for a check up every now and then? Don't I have to do that for my legs too?"

"With the legs the checkups would be more like tuneups. The eye will be synthetic, but it won't be mechanical."

"Let's wait a few days, alright? It'll be good for you to rest a bit first."

She nodded, leaning back against her pillow, sighing in relief "thank you....but when can I walk again? C-can I ever run again?"

[b]Ry puts on a warm smile. She walks to the other side of the bed, and crouches down to look Beta in the eyes.[/b] "You're going to do everything else you could before. I'm just gonna have to give you some physical therapy, your legs aren't used to the metal in your legs now."

"T-thank you, really" She looks at her, grateful and with a small smile on her face

"It's no problem. I'm just doing my part."

She nodded, and sighed, tired. This whole thing took a lot out of her, and she was more worn than she had felt since......well, she'd rather not go into her time as a lab rat

"Now, listen, if you want to talk, tell me, okay? About anything. I know it must be tough, not knowing where Alex is."
