He smiled, walking away from the forest after taking the tent down and packing it back up. He left his helmet off, hair swept backwards and tattoo peeking over his collarbone. It was where he'd been stabbed by a poisoned blade, and Chloe had saved him. He'd gotten a tattoo to cover it, because he didn't believe in the whole "wear your scars proudly" bullshit. He didn't like the way it looked, so he covered it.
"What was your home like?"
He questions as they began to climb the steps. He didn't know much about what she'd run away from, and nor her about him. He wasn't one to be curious, but anything to keep the walk less boring.

"Then we do that... Better to have some respite after traveling..." She nods and walks from the sleek white room back out into the streets... Which were mostly desolate. It had grown much later and at this point of night, only the nocturnal few still roamed.

Desmond scoffed but didn't say anything. Right when you thought things were simple, shit got complicated. "I'm right here. Yell if you need anything." That's if she could wake him up from the coma he was about to be in after three days of no sleep.

"Then... Until we speak again..." She gave a warm smile and slight bow, padding to the door and twisting the handle to peep inside, slipping in a moment later and disappearing into the room.

He nodded to her and retreated into his own room, door shutting silently. (End.)
