"I suppose..."
She finished with a mumble, a yawn escaping her for a moment.
"What about you? How are you doing?"
With a gentle smile, lines began to swim over her skin before settling on her hands and feet once again... As if they had disappeared while she slept.

Desmond almost scoffed at her, but that was something Durzo would've done, not him. He wasn't that cynical or rude. Desmond smiles slightly and nods. "Your perception is something that many people could've used in Cenaria. Do you wanna see your home?" He questioned.

"Not particularly... Theres nothing to see but towers and fields... And more towers." Her land was built around the citadels, massive sky scrapers that went far past the clouds. Inside were stores and homes... Everything shared.

Desmond shrugged his shoulders, his strong frame, framed by the slim fitting armor. Built for mobility and speed. "Well, I'm not going to make you. You left for a reason." He takes on a thinking face as he ponders on something else to show her.

"Perhaps we should find a place to stay... We'll be spending at least some time here...? Right?" She gave Desmond a questioning look, always wary when he got to thinking. Who knows what that could mean?

"If that's what you wanna do. You're the one who doesn't wanna be tied down." He says, a hint of a smirk playing at his lips.

"Then we do that... Better to have some respite after traveling..." She nods and walks from the sleek white room back out into the streets... Which were mostly desolate. It had grown much later and at this point of night, only the nocturnal few still roamed.

"There's a whole wing dedicated to rooms. From what I hear, they decorate themselves according to the owner's wishes." They walked through the streets until they came to a wing of the Dojo, that led to rows and rows of rooms. Finding two together that didn't have any names on them, Desmond nodded in approval. He'd be nothing short of next door if something happened.

"Seems... Modest. I like it." Chloe was far beyond tired of the extravagant citadels and the rooms of her home... This... This was much better. "Well... I guess that makes the journey all the more... Simple..."
-
Desmond scoffed but didn't say anything. Right when you thought things were simple, shit got complicated. "I'm right here. Yell if you need anything." That's if she could wake him up from the coma he was about to be in after three days of no sleep.
-
"Then... Until we speak again..." She gave a warm smile and slight bow, padding to the door and twisting the handle to peep inside, slipping in a moment later and disappearing into the room.

He nodded to her and retreated into his own room, door shutting silently. (End.)
