So...say your friend, has a wife and she doesn't work. She doesn't have to...her husband apparently, fortunately, brings home enough bacon all on his own. His wife has a 15 y/o son from a previous marriage. Needless to say, her kid's whole focus is on school and, the age appropriate angst. Re: he doesn't work. Brings nothing to the table but eats everything on the table and in the fridge! His (my friend's) 50 year old, unemployed mother in-law moved into a spare bedroom. Because she's unemployed and has no place to go because she's strife causing wretch when she's sober and a bitchy (but kinda humorous) scavenger smoking, mildly delusional housekeeper when she's drinking. A few days ago, HIS sister's marriage collapsed and she not only "NEEDS" to move in with him, but she's pregnant and unemployed, too. I mentioned something about his home turning into a homeless shelter. He laughed but very quickly looked me right in the eye and whispered for me to save him! Should I call the cops?!
