Just so people know, I joined at axis when the rest of the fireteam had activated the previous monitors and I got the quest for the pulse rifle.

Ive done the whole thing twice just for the quest and still have NOT gotten it.. I think it has something to do with changing fire team leader, so if your leader rages quits you may aswell quit because the lasers will reset...
