Not true it seems there are ways to get certain ones my son got two during a match and got another in a totally different match so unless they changed that then it should still work.

How to get all five- You need all the viruses in the game at the same time and one with no viruses (clean character), so have each infected guardian use their offensive super on the clean guardian, what this does is basically tell the game which viruses you want, this "charges the Guardian with infected residual super energy". After you're done doing that have ALL of the infected guardians group up in one big clump and let the non infected guardian kill the with his/her super. This will give you all five. -Roxly
