that will be one of the key selling points for me for destiny 2. i've played bungie games since LAN competitions in halo 1 because i like the physics and gameplay bungie creates but even back to halo 2 they always have had lag. back then we can chock it up to primitive internet but now there's just no reason for it. they could have at least implemented regional matchmaking so we arent playing apes from 3rd world countries. i got destiny because i was excited bungie was coming out with this massive title, open world, all fancy things, it is still an amazing game but certainly smaller than it was made out to be. i have hopes for destiny 2 since it wont be on old consoles but i most likely wont be pre-ordering it or getting it if they cant get a handle on connectivity because it ruins the ability to truly enjoy pvp for myself and many others
Well said. It's why I'm not going to preorder the dlc. Hell I might never buy it or I might buy in February-May because that is usually when there is a lull in video games. It all really depends on if BUNGIE decides to get dedicated servers. I got the taste of dedicated servers on StarWars BattleFront and The Division haven't looked back to Destiny. Dedicated servers have a huge difference in play. It's so smooth connection wise. To many games have done this P2P2S/P2P setup and I hate it every time. I'm never playing with anyone that is every remotely close to me so someone usually suffers connection issues and it is usually hurts everyone in the group. I'm done with online games unless they use dedicated servers now.
