Your Opinion on the "Pokemon" Series
How do you feel about the series as a whole? How do you feel about individual titles within the series?

Pokemon games are kind of my comfort food of games. I generally enjoy each new iteration that comes out. They've got a formula down and know how to safely iterate for the most part.

4 RepliesNintendo is ruining Pokemon by not doing anything new. They could just slap a new logo on an old game, change an few color schemes and people would rave about how good the game is.

Long story short, I got into it when it first debuted. Then halfway through Johto League Champions I was ready to rip my dick off and throw it in the river then continue with the franchise. TR just poisoned the experience for me, like a zombie plague.

Was never a fan. I played one of the games when is was a kid and didn't latch onto it. Loved the cartoon though.

It started falling apart after Sinnoh, in my opinion. My all-time favorite is easily Hoenn. Nothing will ever come close.

S/G/C, R/S/E, SS/HG and Black/White(1&2) are the only ones I've bothered with. Out of them all, Hoenn was my hands down favorite at its respective time period.

I actually couldn't get into gen 1 and 2 until much later. Gen 3 games are bae but I hated that trading was necessary to complete dexes. Had barely any friends back when I was playing it and none of them played at school.

I've played them since I got Gold on the GBC, still buy them whenever they come out.

Never played any. Had a passing interest when I was a kid, but never had the money for a GameBoy or cards. I don't really think about it much at all, the Pokemon players do their thing and I do mine.
