Anyone else tired of people saying fusion rifles are really good now even though they've only used their god-rolled Ashraven's Flight or Thesan? At least with snipers and shotguns they are all useable in some form while most fusions won't one shot point blank

Controlling the burst on fusions is actually fairly easy, it just gets harder to range without a range stat since the projectile speed is so slow without it.

lol, I even use "decent" rolled fusion rifles and do just dandy with them.

Exactly. Birds from Crucible Radio seems to have convinced the community that FRs are really good right now, to the point that some people are even calling for a nerf. Like the only ones that are good are the ones with really high stability, and even they only work half the time.

lies. I use hitchhiker,thessan,ashravens,panta rhei, vortex,vacancy,Elevating Vision, LFG, peruns fire,final rest II, light of the abyss, Splitshifter...... all are good if you are good. and you can't say no one uses them in trials effectively because bones is a straight beastmonster with a fusion in trials

Every fusion I have ever used will one shot. Even at range when all bolts hit.

They aren't OP. Everybody just prefers to use snipers/shotguns over them. Less people run around with fusion rifles so when you get killed, you automatically think it's too OP

Edited by Dano2point0: 8/29/2016 2:51:46 PMIt really doesn't take top tier perks to kill with a fusion rifle if you know what you're doing. The same can be said for any weapon. Anyways, no one makes videos of guns with shitty perks unless they are proving a point.

Not all snipers or shotguns are usable either. Snipers need at least a good scope. Shotguns need a huge range boost. Otherwise I dismantle. Same with fusions. Either really good range of really good stability will make a fusion rifle good. Not so much the scopes.

Yes they will... Only time they don't one shot point blank is lag.
